It's a good buy, especially if you aren't winning lane or if your blue is stolen/not given to you. Enables you to trade far more often and far more liberally. You lose the 100-0 potential from DFG rush but doing 70% of someone's health is just as good in a sieging or ganking situation, especially when you can do it again in 20 seconds instead of waiting on DFG cooldown. LB with Athene's can be played like a safer Nidalee in that she can chunk a huge portion of someone's health from super far away with WQREW. Even if you miss E and don't get the R proc, QR hurts like hell.
