Any tool that helps players should be banned IMO, whether it be a tool for timers or a real hack. I don't really like lolnexus as well because it influences your mindset in-game.
Yes, several times in-game someone will claim whether or not someone on the enemy team is in a ranking.
Using a tool to peek into the enemy build just can't end well, and neither will adding info to your HuD that isn't available for everyone.
If you want to help me, teach me.
I don't like it, because tools like these make all those efforts you poured in to master skills feel kind of wasteful =.=!
Not to mention that when you actually communicate/plan your CD and timer, the feeling of doing things like that is so satisfying... But yeah, it's user/newbie friendly stuff, I really can't convince people out of it, I feel like some sort of an old school.

How can you be satisfied with a game you won while/by having an absolute advantage over other players? I can't.
And I agree that it's kinda useless. That gut feel is more than enough of a timer for me, and the new mini-map icons make it even easier. Though I wouldn't mind if Riot decides to add friendly ult timers to the HUD.
Same goes for the Elophant custom launcher. I think people make a lot of miscalculations because of it too. So irritating in a normal match to hear from people what elo everyone has. Most are too ignorant to realize normal elo is entirely different from ranked elo too.
Anyways, not having to look at the timers will always make you a better player regardless of the ease of use.
EDIT: Sharing timers and stuff also increases the team spirit I believe.

It's not like it's giving an unfair advantage to anyone.
It's giving everyone an equal opportunity to communicate with eachother; The stuff about the dragon & baron timers is BS. That stuff is fine to have on a timer.
Something that MAY not necessarily be right to have on a timer would be the enemy/ally blue buff/red buff timers. That might be crossing the line. Everything they have so far should be alright though c:
So you should have timers every time someone sneaks your red at level 1 while you are doing blue? So you should be completely aware of their position and know to counter-jungle their red? When they steal your buff at 7.20, you know to go to steal theirs? That you should know when the enemy has sneaked a baron or dragon because you failed to ward properly? I think THAT'S bs if anything is.

This doesn't tell you that I believe.

It automatically tracks timers when you get vision. It didn't mention whether it was from the time the monster was dead or the time you see it (which seems to me a bit useless as a timer anyway).
You can do this yourself manually, on your other screen if you want. It's absolutely fine to have this, they should add timers in the game. It doesn't add any additional functionality.

I like timers, personally. I already have to watch where I am, watch where my lane partner is, watch where the enemy laners are, watch where my jungler is, watch where THEIR mid and jungler have left, along with keeping track of my wards and the opponents' wards, the enemy ultimates and flashes, how far all the champions are into their builds...
I have chat timers on, but as stated, it gets lost when you're talking with your team and pinging targets.
However, I don't use timers (lol)

This pretty much sums up my opinion.
Useless or not to veteran players, this is in no way fair unless it's implemented by riot so everyone has it.
Also, concerning sites that allow you to check opponent masteries, runes & elo are fine for me. It encourages low plats to think they can stomp me and they end up failing hard due to overaggressive behavior :D
