As it stood, a teemo used to give his team immense amounts of advantage and map pressure through shrooms. If a particular team closely won a team fight, and gave teemo the opportunity to shroom important locations, it would make it very difficult for a team to recover that shroomed territory. This nerf in AP ratio will hopefully mean that a team with teemo will have a decisive advantage if they have team fights in their teemo's shroom field, but not a free won team fight

Shaco's box is on a 60 sec timer, means he can have like 4 up max, the useless tree works kinda the same.
Nid's traps and Cait's traps, they are annoying yes.
But Teemo's shrooms......it's the main reason I like playing Teemo.

Put the shrooms not in bushes, people expect em in the bushes, but in the paths. Any one that follows a certain path will step on at least 3 shrooms, if I got time, it'll be 4-6. At that point, the player dies.
I like to line the wall of dragon/baron with shrooms. Anyone that flashes over the wall, trying to escape, he's getting shroomed. It's epic.
But yeah, the shrooms have been too powerful for too long.

To be honest I have only just started playing Teemo and I have been playing him with Toxic Shot being his main damage output and only using his shrooms as a means to slow down opponents for more attacks.

I understand that Teemos ult has been taken from 0.8 to 0.5 total AP doesn't bother me and I still find him a dangerous champion to play with and against

I'm not overly Concerned, I tend to lean towards an on-hit hybrid Teemo. Works pretty fantastic in ganks, but hope you don't get caught out of position.


As far as the shrooms go, just sneak into enemy jungle and place them behind active turrets, so many free kills from people running from death. The Nerf is a good chunk thou.

Nerf was good. His shrooms are game-changing enough with good damage AND vision AND the many many you can put down.

He's a pain in the *** that needed to be toned down. Hope that was enough. I'm just glad people don't play him too often.

decent nerf...though may have overdone it, but than again it is riot. surprised they didn't just go all out like they usually do.

Nid, sure. 4 minute traps are annoying. Shaco and Maokai though... not really. Maokai's are only 35 seconds, and you can see them, so it's not like they're going to destroy you. Shaco's boxes are a minute long and unless he's AP, which isn't super viable except on ARAM, that won't hurt too much either.

i only said useless tree cuz fk u lugi

i did think shacos boxes were on a lower CD though, havnt played him in a long time

also i didnt include cait because cait already has a 3 trap max, which i think nid and teemo should have (maybe 5 for teemo since his whole thing is shrooms and cuz ult)

but do teemo shrooms /really/ need to last 10 minutes?

I would say a 3 minutes duration would be good, similar to how long wards exist. For that, they could even lower the cooldown of it.
