it is easier to sidestep the EQ but i think its reasonable. The previous radius was pretty outrageous. If one lines it up correctly you should still be able to land a pretty large percentage of them. I recently played vs boxbox in a tourney and he was only able to sidestep like 2 of them all game.
thats the only high elo experience ive had in like a year so i cant compare to much else. if you say that was a fluke then i guess i will have to agree with you as you have more relevant experience

I think Riot should increase the width a little bit more but not the radius at the end. If you're behind the flag, you shouldn't ever get the knockup.

I don't think he isnt viable, but I don't think there is ever a reason to pick him now in the jungle unless Vi, Elise, Pantheon, and Kha'Zix aren't available, and you don't play Lee. As for top lane I feel like hes fine as a counterpick. Recently dexter played jarvan against tsm (i think) in the LCS to total ineffectiveness as well.
I won't say too much since you're the J4 main and I just play him when my main junglers are banned. I've been duoing with a D1 friend and we're getting a lot of low challenger and high D1 players and almost every high tier jungler like you listed is banned quite often(Don't think me saying this is me trying to show off or what not, just saying where I am creating my opinion from - I could be very wrong at different MMR's.) As a result of the large amount of jungle bans, he's actually a decent pick.
Although I have a limited amount of experience with J4 in season 4, I've found that he's still very strong against jungle Lee's like in previous seasons, surprisingly strong against Pantheon and decent against Wukong, Vi and Elise. I think I've stated this before but his E-Q is still pretty strong, not just completely free as in the past.
Regarding LCS play, I don't think it's fair to compare solo-queue to that type of environment. LCS can be more compared to Ranked 5's while Solo Queue is whole different beast. I personally believe that the only thing Solo Queue can take from LCS is really sleeper op champs like AP Trynd(I know this was soloq->LCS but you get the point), cool neat tricks and a take of team comps such as "Protect the Kog" in S2. I don't play J4 at a competitive level in ranked 5's so take what I say with a grain of salt but I feel like J4 is like Kha'Zix in LCS play. Great in Solo Queue, not as efficient/powerful in LCS/Ranked 5's.
tl;dr - Give your boy J4 another chance when the top tiers are banned H4x ;)

I don't like comparing solo queue to the LCS, just responded to earlier points. I agree the two are completely different despite the fact that some niche picks come from solo queue into the LCS.
If the top junglers do get the nerfs on PBE that are slated at the moment, I'll probably start maining J4 again. I've been spamming lee since hes up a lot of the time to great success.
Bans I see are always a mixed bag.
