We got stomped hard in team-fights.
THIS GAME THOUGH.
Picked Zed for mid, alt tabbed for a bit. Looked back later on and there was some confusion going on because there was a trade being planned, but someone hadn't noticed and picked Lee Sin jungle when our Ignite Vi was actually meant to be traded and also meant to be jungle. So by the end of champ select we had 2 jungle champs (only one with Smite though), a mid laner, a top laner, and a support. Then at the last second of champ select I realized I hadn't changed my Zack runes and masteries. I figured I wouldn't be able to win lane vs Fizz with that setup, so I just told Vi to go mid as I would have an easier time farming bot than her. She got level 1 fb on an afk Fizz, I got a double kill on bot lane shortly after. When I looked at Ryze a few minutes after that, he was also 2/0, and Lee Sin was helping around everywhere getting kills and assists.
In the end we just stomped them so hard that it didn't even matter that we had no real team set-up lol.

I did fine early-game but mid-game Vi was wrecking me, and Vel'Koz + Cait, but mainly Vel'Koz, got fed in team-fights and started carrying them late-game. Every team-fight I would get combo'd by Vi ult and whatever else before I could burst anybody, and I would have to either ult to escape or Flash out. Long story short, after a super long game of this happening where I was mostly completely useless, seeing as my Flash was up, I decided to sell my defensive item at the time and buy a BT, figuring that defensive items weren't doing me any good. I said "Okay, next team-fight I'll keep my distance, wait for an engage, then Flash onto Vel and melt him. Hopefully we can win the team-fight with him out of the picture". Can't remember what but my plan failed because I somehow got targeted by Vi's ult for like the thousandth time, and the entire game she had stupidly scary damage for some ******ed reason, 'cuz she only had 2 offensive items, and I had to flash out on 40% HP.
So I thought "well ****, there goes my plan. Well we're probably gonna lose anyway, let's see what happens if I do this". So I popped Youmuu's + ult (the enemy team didn't notice, the team-fight was too hectic), and sneaked up on Vel, somehow managing not to get caught by any skillshot / AoE CC. I E + Q + W'd him, though I think I killed him with just the E Q 'cuz one of them was a crit, as expected. What wasn't expected though, was that Cait was just right ahead of Vel, and she got hit by my W and R as collateral damage. My plan had only been to kill Vel and then probably die, but I figured before I died I may as well damage Cait as much as I could. So I auto-attacked her once and crit and her GA immediately popped. Then I realized their team was too spread out to kill me so I just walked away, seeing as I was so low Cait might have been able to kill me with a single lucky crit. Cait ran away when she revived, equally scared that I might kill her in one hit, and so we picked off Udyr and Leona (killing both of which gave me a chance to lifesteal back up). So we destroyed their inhib then went onto their Nexus, which only had one tower 'cuz we took the other tower like 40 minutes ago. I think 3 of us were alive, and Eve was low HP. Vi engaged on Eve while we were taking the nexus tower and Cait tried to attack Eve too, so I killed her in 2 auto-attacks 'cuz lol 5 offense items including IE. Eve died but me and Jayce got Vi as well, and we won the game.
LITERALLY PLAYED BADLY ALL GAME, AND THEN SINGLE HANDEDLY WON US THE GAME BECAUSE OF ONE LUCKY DECISION RIGHT AT THE VERY END LOL.
