This question is partially bumping this thread, since i don't want it to be forgotten. I still have a pretty serious question though.
What was the biggest obstacles (name a couple? :D) you had to learn to overcome when climbing from plat to diamond? What about from low diamond to high diamond?
First off, sorry to everyone for not updating this recently, been really busy researching as much as I can to improve my jungle, as well as playing 5s.
I had to learn to just deal with the the people who ruin soloq as they come. I climbed through plat into diamond in like 2 months playing only on weekends without skipping any divisions in s3, so not much to say about that lol. In S4 I was just better than everyone when I climbed through plat so it was very fast.
Diamond 1 in S3 was a huge struggle for me. A lot of it came down to humbling myself and realizing diamond v didn't mean I was anything special, as everyone I was playing with was just as good. Once I started to play soloq to improve myself instead of climb I started climbing. (h4h4)

Is there a vast difference between D5 and D1? My D1 friend says the Plat isn't as good as it used to be and that people just kinda float in there sometimes.

Can confirm. I've played with/against too many Plats that didn't seem any better than me (Gold and not going anywhere due to lack of play).
How much play does shaco see now?
And how is he built?
And how is he built?

I don't see how his strengths as a top laner would influence his tier as a jungler though :|
I mean, if you first pick him, the enemy team picks one of those nasty counters (I'm assuming you mean champs like
Renekton and
Ryze?) and you're forced to play him as a jungler, wouldn't he have less of an impact than he would if you'd play him in a favorable matchup top?
