with this kind of 3rd party apps players will stick to these... We all know that this is a big advantage for those who knows the DR/BR time as well as large minions.
In my opinion, this should be banned. Players should know about the timers. =)

Unless the company gets permission to create the app for the game then I -think- it's perfectly fair for the developers to kill it.

My personal opinion is that it does provide an advantage to have these timers if there is only one team or player getting them. I play rank often (silver 1 in NA and silver 2 in Lan, I have a long way to go :) ) and I rarely see anyone actually timing buffs or abilities, this might be different at higher competitive levels, but in my own experience it is something that I wouldn't want my own team or the other team having exclusively as an automated feature.

I know overall timers is a feature that the design team is considering as they want the game to be focused on skill and the game experience itself rather than having to note down timers, I'll be really curious to see how it works/ feels if we do implement it internally and test it out. If it makes the game better for everyone playing I am all for it.

It's unacceptable so long as only select people who got keys use them. If it's implemented in the actual game itself and it's accessible to everyone, there really aren't any issues with using them.

About these discussions about 3rd party apps, what do you think of M3Jogo, should the users be banned? The timers isn't accurate, the timer starts when you gain vision of the camp and it's gone. The other functions are Skins, ward skins & cursors that only you can see. Should it be forbidden?

As long as it doesn't threaten the security of my account, I could give less ***** about stuff like timers.

I've heard that a lot of korean players just play league in windowed mode and type out cooldowns\timers in the notepad (there even was a screenshot floating of SKT or some other team doing that during some tournament).

If you feel like it's giving you a much needed advantage then just do it yourself. Even remembering ults is not that hard, because there's only a handful in the game which have ridiculously long or short cooldowns.

Also, I hate the idea of voice chat in this game, just fyi.
Every time you succeed, I bleed a little.

it doesn't give you an advantage over the enemy in terms of drag/baron timers

the enemy has the option to scroll up to their chat and look at the timer just like you do, it's not hard

Yes it does, it takes several seconds of scrolling through chat and doing math - during which time you're not paying attention to the game - in order to get timers manually when the Curse Voice guy can do it instantly at a glance. Seconds can mean a lot in this game.

Lol? How long does it take you to add the number 6 or 7 to the time stamp? Don't even have to generally the support or jungler will type it out anyway. It's bolded out so it's very easy to see and even if not you can just check the timers while recalling or in base and do the complicated reading and adding. I mean, it's not like you're going to need the Dragon timer while peeling three people off of your carry.

There is absolutely no issue with the Dragon/Baron timers at all. The ult timers aren't a big deal either, I mean you can just as easily ask your teammate if it's up (or well, look left) but you don't even need to know unless you're laning with the person and then all you need to know is whether it's up or not; not in what time it's up. If you do need to know what time it's up you can just ask your teammate.

If Crs Voice was giving out enemy cooldowns, enemy summoner spells or dragons/barons you didn't see go down, then it'd be a problem. You know there are tons of like cell phone apps that give you lots of timers with a tap of a screen anyway, if people can use those; why not Curse Voice, too?

I'm not a fan of streamers using these keys to get subscribes, but hey if people want to spend 5$ on something like that; who are you to say no?

Several seconds, I thought I was quite clear on that. :P

Everything else you mentioned is still stuff that takes time to do with default. Doesn't matter whether it's the jungle or the support's time, it's still time. Not a lot of time for sure, but it's still an advantage. Even while you're recalling or in base you could be thinking about your next move instead. Two people typing in chat about their ult cooldowns takes absolutely forever, to the extent that I usually don't even consider it worth answering if I get asked.

It wasn't a serious question. It was more like "does it seriously take you several seconds to add the number 6 or 7 to the timestamp?"

You're saying that as if they're stopping in the middle of a fight to take 3 seconds to write down "23:40 d". It might take a couple of seconds to check and "do the math" and write it down but they're not losing anything by doing so.
