Hey guys!

I figured what better way to improve my play as an adc (outside of playing and watching games), as to post my log here! My short term goals is to figure out my biggest weakness and start with improving that. My long term goal, as is probably most people on here, is to make it to that diamond challenger level!

I started playing back about a year ago in February, after giving up playing world of warcraft. My first champ I spammed playing was akali. She's an extremely fun champ to play, but according to most, it was not a good champ to learn league with. So I pulled away, started playing champs left and right, as I added them to my roster of available ones to play.

Then, I came to realize, that in most games I played, I usually played a kiting type of class. So I started playing adc, and fell in love with the role!

I've been playing off and on since then, only being able to attain silver 2. With the start of season 4, I'm back in bronze, and working my way up.

I'm a pretty competitive guy, and have developed some good friendships playing the game! But I'm looking forward to improving, little by little. Hopefully some of you players can take the time out to suggest anything builds wise to help me improve!

Take care, and see you all out there!

p.s. Is there a way to link LoL replays on here?

First game!

We dominated the bot lane, and twitch was 0 3 by five minutes in, and I had 3 0. We converted that into two top turrets, because vi and fiora kept coming down to try and stop us. But we still ended up getting the bottom turret.

I saw that vi and fiora was building health, so i went bork as my third item.

It was pretty much a slaughter.

I was killed mostly by fiora. I need to play not as sloppy, even when we get a big lead, because at after I went 3 0 1 in laning phase, I was 3 4 2 at one point.

Just need to kite anyone who tries to dive me. Lucian has escapes, but if fiora was able to get on top of me, it was gg.

As you can see, our Lee Sin did well. He ganked bot once, after my support and I got first blood (unfortunately I perished), and after that our lane just bullied them.

Draven is not an adc I play very often, but he is fun! My cs numbers were not up to par with what I would like to have, and I should focus on that a little more with draven. But, I try to take the advice of doublelift who said (summing up), it's not about csing as an adc, it's about out harassing your opponent so that you can cs more freely. My support and I were able to outplay our counterparts, so I was able to basically almost double Lucian's cs.

It was not exactly a good game to determine what faults of mine were, however specifically in that game, I did not harass lucian when he would go to cs. I was more focused on catching axes. I did however harass in between cs when i had axes and was in range. That was more a fault on lucian for bad positioning, as opposed to it being good play by me.

Our top laner's opponent DC'd, so it ended up being a 4v5.

I was with a morgana support, and the leona graves was able to get an early level lead on us. This led to a Leona all in, with our morgana giving up first blood.

So I played a little more passive just trying to cs as safe as possible until we could get a gank. Our jungler finally came, and we were able to get a kill out of it.

I think the biggest thing I realized was i analyzed our situation, and played to it. Instead of just blindly going for cs. I had to give up a lot more cs than I wanted to, just b/c leona was playing the "sit in the bush to wait for you to try and cs" game. we were low on funds, so early game i invested in a couple wards to help out morgana. It paid off, as we were able to come back.

The toughest part about playing bot lane is playing with someone who does not agree with your strategies when it comes to playing against a particular laning opponent. I said since morgana was having issues landing her q's, that we needed to be careful about the leona all in potential in the early game. She didn't agree, but I played passively anyway. And even though he/she was frustrated, she ended up pulling back b/c she realized she couldn't take the two on her own.

This led to us staying alive, and profitable ganks from our jungler.

I think the interesting point was when our jungler came in for a gank, and we were not able to get them. However we forced a flash out of their leona, and I continued to cs. Their graves stayed, and since i froze the lane, when he tried to come out to the middle of the lane to cs, we were able to get a kill. our jungler who was going to back in the bush, decided to stay when he saw graves playing unsafe by himself. It turned our game more even, and we ended up winning.

I'm in my series so did another game. Forgot to capture screen, so got this from lolking. It was a loss:

i outfarmed my lane opponent and was up in kills for most of the game. And I tried to split push turrets most of the time. I think I should not have been, since I was most farmed and fed. Because their team was able to push down mid and dive our turret and get 4 kills off our team with no problems.

even afterward, we still had the upper hand, and were doing fine. I did better in farming and harassing was no problem (lucian vs cait, I never have issues), but my analysis of where I should have been was too late, and we lost objectives.

Last game of the night:

had a support volibear. played vs twitch/viktor. not exactly normal bot lane comps. If all was even I would almost give viktor the edge, but since twitch has a relatively short attack range, if he is not careful, voli can get a q off.

The problem is, if voli tries to q, viktor can throw his slow stun out there. If he just waits every time for voli to do this, the matchup should be in their favor, b/c voli has zero poke. However, viktor tries to get cute with his stun, so when he misses, then we are able to take advantage of it.

I just got a pink ward every time i went back, and if he tried to stealth i just used it to kill him.

I want to say I think my analysis of the matchup is relatively close. The only thing I do not know is the cd of voli's q vs viktor's stun. However, if vik lands his first slow/stun field on voli, we take too much dmg from start and play behind. so it semi matters a little later in the laning matchup, but earlier on it matters even more, since we have reduced health.

At any rate, my csing was not so good, mostly because we were outtraded in the beginning. at 10 minutes I only had 55 cs. However, my cs was greater than twitches. And at 10 minutes I had 3 kills

This was one of my better games, in which tactically and individually I played above average for me. I think, the two mistakes i made dealt with when we (my support and i) did not ward their jungle side when we pushed up. So we were caught out twice. Otherwise, was a solid game.

You would really need Last Whisper as third item.

Played thresh support this game. I like support and adc. Bot lane is just what I enjoy.

We ended up rolling the lane, and our wukong was able to get a pentakill toward the end!

This match promoted me! So a little more progress!
