Unintentional Bad games meriting reports yeah someone at riot really should fix this
example if a player continues to report and the cases they report never make it to the tribunal or they keep getting pardoned the reporting privilege should be either taken away or they receive a ban of some sort because reports should be given out for legit trolling and feeding not just miss-playing and making mistakes that even pros make.
I have been reported for miss-playing and having bad games and it sucks trying to learn a new role or champion. I also see players often saying things like "report so and so" and I have no doubt that they do click that report button. When the person in question has done nothing wrong other then make a bad play, or gave first blood
I have never received a warning from Riot or anything like that but I still hate seeing team-mates saying report when someone, or myself just happen to miss time that smite
also with Lee Sin getting the most reports just proves two things, The Lee Sin curse is strong, "Their Lee Sin is always better" and there is no respect for jungles, I have seen teams rip their jungle apart post game chat because their jungle fell behind from an early game invade, sorry but that's your usually fault for not helping, warding, calling mia, etc not always the jungles

This is actually handled iirc. Mis-reports and stuff eventually whittle your "report weight" down to nothing.
So, reporting for stupid reasons will get you nothing in the end.

Yesterday on the r/leagueoflegends subreddit, TheStormsFury analyzed 10,000 games from the EUW Tribunal. He compiled the 30 most commonly used words and champions by who was reported.
The most used word by offender was "report". The highest percentage of a word used by offenders compared to everyone else was "noob". Color me shocked. We've all had that wonderful human being telling the opponents to report the support for stealing his farm despite the support having
NoOnePaysAttentionToMe: noob stealing my farm
NoOnePaysAttentionToMe: Report
By the way, I used the top four words in that example.
TheStormsFury added the top offenders by champion too. The most reported champion was
Champions that made the list of words used, which meant that the offender had to call out this champion, were Nasus, Vayne, Caitlyn, Jax, Riven, Lux, Master Yi, and Teemo. Shockingly, Teemo is pretty far down this list at 98th most used word out of the 100 listed.
What did you think of the data? Does the data reveal the type of experiences you've had in game?
