"I saw [Twilight: Eclipse] in theaters with a girl I was dating at the time. I spent more time staring at my toes and wiggling them than I did watching this abomination. When Edward proposed to Blank Face, I finally looked up with a revelation.
I blurted out loud, in a dead silent theater full of teenage girls on opening night "Wait a minute, Edward has no blood flow. How does he get an erection?" I heard several men laughing, and had several girls turn and stare at me.
I did not get laid that night." - Berengier817

excellent concept but the application and implementation will be next to impossible.
solar power is the way of the future imo, but it has still has issues with cost efficiency and cell efficiency. the more people who work on it though the more we can start moving in a direction that we can all be happy with.
good for these people. i hope they get good backing and some reward for their hard work.

I always feel like bashing these kinds of ideas, I think they're too awesome to be(come) true...
But I hope it'll work, getting all the LEDs, control system, earthquake warning system and magical ponies to run on power collected by the system itself, keeping in mind that the production of the system isn't too power-consuming. Would be awesome.

********'s a pretty good fertilizer
So I watched the original video a long time ago when it had like only $1000 to the project. I thought to myself, what an excellent idea. But I thought it'd never get funded. Pretty glad to be proven wrong. Is $1 million enough though?
$1 million is probably enough to fund the development, but the application would be astronomical. for instance a walkway/bridge/overpass is being constructed near where i live over a highway. the cost is around 3 million. for a bridge. with no technology. just cement and rebar.
Thanks to jhoijhoi for my signature!
The 1 mil is for building a proper working prototype, and after all the testing is done and all, they will be able to get the US government attention, who will fund all of the building.
I'm still skeptical about it though, what about vandalism and public property thief? And terrorism... It will take some time, probably 3-10 years.
