To Ncaprisunfan: Thank you! That's usually what I do whenever I use this build and I get a pretty similar score. I'll try to keep it up!

To GrandmasterD: That's okay for not liking this build. The fact that I didn't include a Void Staff is because I usually like having three tank items to actually become almost like a real tank. It's also because I rarely ever get a Void Staff or Last Whisper on any champion, and frankly, for really no reason at all because it's a great item that's also surprisingly cheap, but there's just something I just don't like about it.

Back when Warmog's Armor was ridiculously broken, the Mog's + DFG build was definitely something that worked. Right now, I wouldn't consider doing it ever. Also, the fact there's no Void Staff is just... well, sad.

Well, considering ok Veigar AP ratios and his ulti...
it can work.

Just tried out your build! It works wonders! 10/5/11! I still did all my usual damage and could 100-0 burst them. Plus I couldn't die. Lots of fun. Great guide. Keep it up!

I guess you can't ask for more than having fun. I'm still a little skeptical of the build, but I do really like the guide. Best of luck.

To Kafurflgig: Sorry for not replying that quickly, the school week started. Anyways, your points are both very valid which is probably the reason why this isn't a popular build and is considered troll. This build somewhat relies on the fact that Veigar is underplayed where people don't know about his burst and the ones who do know the only way to fix that is burst back, which isn't effective when he is built tank. However, he still deals a large amount of damage even without a lot of AP items due to his natural AP and the ability to one-shot a squishy is still there. He is somewhat outclassed for an APC or for a bruiser but he can fill in both roles somewhat. I guess one of the most important things about this build though is that offtank Veigar is really fun because you can be more aggressive with your abilities and go off for kills instead of waiting for your tanks and supports so you won't die.

I probably should have been more clear, but the tank label was just meant as a general thing, so it doesn't really affect any of the points.

Anyways, bruisers use, not burst, but DPS to compliment staying in fights for longer periods of time, thanks to there immense defensive stats, as well as decent engage capability. They help start-up team-fights and wreak havoc on the enemy backline. With Veigar trying to fill this sort of roll, he can use his stun, do somewhat decent burst, and then minimal sustained damage. He lacks the powerful engage and constant threat that other bruisers offer, and he doesn't have to mobility to get into fights. When you can't kill the target and your stun times out than the enemy team will have no reason to focus you and you'll have nothing significant left to contribute, compared to APC Veigar where your pretty much guaranteed a kill on any enemy champion and you can contribute by easily taking down threats. Besides, without a proper APC, your team could lack a lot of strong magical damage it wants from the champion filling that role. It's just outclassed compared to conventional APC Veigar and other bruisers.

Thank you! As of your questions...
  • You are supposed to be playing him in the mid lane. I think I'm going to put that somewhere into the guide. As for your next question,
  • We are playing him as an offtank, like Nasus. Basically, you are really tanky but can still do a ton of damage with a little bit of utility. He has some pros of being a mage like huge burst and damage, with some pros of being tank like the ability to stay in teamfights for long periods and not dieing quickly. He can go deep into the enemy team to burst the squishies who keep in the back lines. There are very little bruisers with burst. Veigar has instant delete power but he doesn't have any escapes or invisibility like assassins. He has more utility then assassins but less then bruisers. To be honest, you don't really pick offtank Veigar for one big reason but more for a bunch of small reasons.
Thank you for your questions. I will try to update my guide with this information.

Aside from the fact that your build is about tank Veigar this is a really nice guide. The coding is nice, the custom art is creative and the actual content isn't half bad. But about tank Veigar:
  • What lane are you actually playing him? I'm pretty sure you mean mid lane but there's no specification about that. Anyways I'm not so sure about mid lane, where he'd fall behind in damage as an APC. The only other solo lane is top, where he could be hard dived and out traded every time by common bruisers.
  • Why is this something that I should consider over other tanks? Conventional tanks and bruisers have sustained damage, better CC, better engage, higher mobility, and higher utility. That being the case, why should one pick tank Veigar?

When showing off an out of meta pick like this there has to be a true reason. No, the fact that he's easy to kill is not a reason to build tank, it's a reason to build defensive AP items like Zhonya's Hourglass. Without a good reason, it's just isn't worth the consideration of a player.
