Hello. Earlier today you looked at Jinx guide and questioned its fabulousness.

Pls spacing. (There are a few examples of this. I just picked a couple.)

This font screams art deco, but the rest of your guide does not lend itself to an art deco aesthetic. (If we are to interpret that mafia Jinx is emulating a 1920s style New York mob gangster, then art deco is actually time period appropriate.)

You establish visual hierarchy here: 21/9/0 is your main mastery sheet, and it has the largest font size. The others have smaller font sizes. Heal is the flexible spell, so it's smaller than Flash. Chompers is maxed last so it's smallest. Good!

I would strongly suggest you re-visit your code here. You seem to have mistakenly nested the rest of your guides content within the item explanations table. (I can tell because the images and dividers get offset and start hugging the right.)

Ah yes, ye olde standard wall o text.

"Do you need literally every word written there?" Self-explanatory.

"Can you break it into large chunks?" So like "laning" might be one mega section, then team fighting might be another mega section. If it helps, make a tree structure.

"How can I break up those large chunks further into more organized sections?" Truthfully the simple text bold/coloring is not going to work if you have literally a wall. That's like staring a red brick wall and a few of the bricks are yellow cause uh the yellow brick road got torn up to make the Great Land of Oz Mall and the bricks were re---- yeah.

Take a look at your own item explanation section. That breaks up the wall of text using space, line breaks, no images/etc. MissMaw's Leona guide also does a good job of breaking up content/text using space and colors and dingleberry ascii entities if you want to take a look at that.

MY EYES.

Rating: Fabu-lite

You have a solid foundation on the way to achieving fabulousness and your visual hierarchy is well done (perhaps you could organize the champion icons in the synergy and counters part based on who you feel counters you hardest and who synergizes best?) but stuff like the ORANGE CREAMSICLE COUNTER OF SCREW YOUR EYESIGHT YOU DON'T NEED EYES ANYWAY and the Great Wall of Chinatext don't really help you and identifies a weakness in your informational structure (see above: can this wall of text be broken up). I was honestly going to give you a fabulous max .gif until I saw that friggin' counter.

If you were interested in going along w/the art deco style that you accidentally created with the font, the best place to do this is your intro graphic and your chapter title/banners. (You can't really do it anywhere else imo.)

Thy sins
1. You get lifesteal incredibly late and no explanation about that whatsoever
2. Cheatsheet looks weird. Seperating the alternatives would do the trick
3. "I usually take skip over full points in Warlord because you don't build much defense, and when you do, it's very late into the game." Wow, I have no idea what you're talking about son. I don't see how points in warlord is related to defense. Explain! >:O
4. "21•2•7 will let you get the snazzy Summoner's Insight in the utility tree, along with Meditation and Phasewalker. 21•6•3 will let you have Meditation as well." But why is it/could it be good?
5. "it's most effective to run a mix of armor and health for your seals." Why? Isn't it better to take full armor or full HP instead?
6. "If you need mana regeneration, you can mix in some Mana Regen glyphs as well." Tell me more.
7. "(...) every marksman, buts (...)" Ha! Butts
8. Most of the skill max section explanations are: "Max this because it gives this!" But why is it any good?! >:O
9. "It's useful for its utility and deals very minimal damage due to you not building AP, so there's little incentive for leveling it over a skill which would offer more presence." Maxing has nothing to do with AP/AD scaling unless the scaling increases per ability level. So dont use it as an argument.
10. "meelee"
11. "(...) so sa not (...)"
12. Last section of the synergies has no connection with the rest of the synergy section. IT DOESNT FLOW! >:O

Thy blessing
1. C2V
2. Build seems fine
3. All basics included
4. Good use of coding and structure
5. Bonus: Matchups and synergies

Result: Path of the Teacher
Most explanations lacking, the lack of flow within the text and language errors. My advice is simple. Reread your guide, because these mistakes are really easily found if you just did as such. Try to make your explanations complete, make your text a flowing story and not jumping from statement to statement and fix those silly language errors. PLEASE!

The build is still fine and all the basics are in there. Fix your text and I will be a happy banana.

Good luck!

Yo, as requested at the Mobafire scout review shop, here is your review by Joxuu, The_Nameless_Bard, Janitsu and Vynertje.

A quick note by me, forgive me for being lazy in formatting.

- Start Q in most matchups. I myself used to believe W>Q but since right now you just want to push level 1 you really need Q first.

Fixed. Although I still think there are some scenarios where W start would be more preferable.

Quoted:
- I don't really like 21/6/3 because jinx doesn't rly need the manareg that badly. 21/2/7 is a page I sometimes went with but is VERY situational.

I think this is mostly up to preference and match ups, and if people want, taking some mana regen isn't bad.

Quoted:
- I wouldn't suggest exhaust on Jinx and I think cleanse would need further explanation like that's a loss on lane pressure.

I do think that Exhaust is quite good on marksmen with one spaces (ex. Miss Fortune, Draven, Varus, Jinx) because they'll be forced to fight whoever engages on them and Exhaust can be extremely useful. I added more explanations though.

Quoted:
- Your core build implies LW is a mandatory 3rd item but it isn't. In a lot of situations (e.g. ap top, bruiser jungle, ap mid) you will see that the enemy doesn't have a lot of major armor items in which you could go bork/bt/scimitar third.

Well, I actually out it as fourth becasue that's usually the time I get it. In any case, I'll add some more explanations.

Quoted:
- The left columns look super messy because the icons aren't aligned. I don't like it.

Well, I liked it...

Quoted:
- Might be worth mentioning that if you take barrier/cleanse, your support should go with heal over exhaust/ignite

- Strongly dislike yellow trinket upgrade, in very very late game blue trinket is far superior due to it allowing you to essentially prevent all lethal facechecks and baron baits.

- You shouldn't say "I prefer banshee's because yada yada". You should rather say "In most situations, Banshee's is more useful" but that doesn't mean banshees > other defensive items at all. Guardian Angel and Mercurial Scimitar are different items and serve a different purpose in the game. How about you explain when you should get those instead?

Fixed.

Quoted:
- I think jinx's Q could be explained more in-depth due it has several different usages

Will fix.

Quoted:
- "Try to shove hard, so you can pick up a level advantage over your enemies, which will allow you to play more aggressively early on." - you should expand on this. No one but some high elo players will know exactly what you're supposed to do by level-2 rushing. For example, mention you should make sure not to miss any xp and that you'll hit level 2 upon killing the first full wave + 3 melee minions of the second wave.

- "If it was the enemy who engaged you, you should throw a Zap! and Flame Chompers!" -> Zap should never really be used whe trying to run away from engage due it's dodgeable, leaves you immobile for the time it's being charged. Like a simple flash and Zap got rendered useless and you wasted 1 second using it. Although you can still use zap if the enemy is rly far away (outside AA range)

- "It's usually not a good idea to use Pow-Pow, the Minigun because of its short range." What? No, it's pointless not to use it when the enemy you're attacking is in 550 range of you anyway. You should use rockets in the beginning stages of the fight but once people start getting close you should use minigun to grind them down.
Joxuu: It's much better than the rocket when kiting enemy and going for 1v1 due you have botrk + heal mobility

Fixed.

Quoted:
- Guide is a bit short overall, could perhaps expand on it a little bit more.
Joxuu: the rest of the guide (around synergies, team fights, counters) is just way too rushed and lacks information.

I kind of wanted to do a simpler guide, but I'll try to expand a bit more. I personally dislike doing match ups per champion though because that takes a lot of time and is very situational.

Thanks again for the review!
