Mages can kill Spores reliably and if you pull two Mirror Images and then some one or two secrets you pretty much just win(hint: you then pop a Spore for FOUR 8/2 units with taunt). Kirin Tor Mage is there as a free unit with your defensive secrets(you'll need the secrets anyways, so why not get a free unit with them?).[/quote]

I'm aiming to get all golden decks. It's gonna take a while, but it'll totally be worth it. Most of my decks are about half gold by now.
