Hi, it's good to see another skilled Brand fanatic like myself.
Might I suggest morellonomicon vs healing units such as volibear/soraka late game or if they have Sona as support at any time?
This would pretty much make Sona useless and I get that item every time.
Actually, that's a great idea. I forgot about that- gonna have to make it part of the build when against healers, maybe even first item outta the gate.

It doesn't make sense to upgrade Frost Queen's Claim. It slows down Rylai's and the rest of the build after Liandry's. I build like this:
Spellblade, 2redpots, 1bluepot, trinket
upgrade spellblade, buy t2 boots, ruby crystal
Crystal into sightstone, swap trinket, another ruby crystal, amplifying tome
Liandry's, Giant's belt, ruby crystal
Rylai's, ruby sightstone, then into either Hourglass or Banshee's, depending on the situation.
I run 17/7/6 for masteries and my runepage gives 18mpen, 32 health, 2mana/5 and 1.5 movespeed.
At least at my ranking, it's fairly effective, but I'm just silver 4. You play more like an AP bruiser than an AP mage, and this setup gives you a bit more bulk for your buck.
If the game lasts long enough to complete your hourglass or Banshee's, sell frostfang and buy the other one. Avoiding the upgrade completes the build faster, and you don't really need the slow if you have Rylai's.
It's just an alternate way of looking at a Brand build, I think.
also: If the game runs super long, I sell the sightstone and build a deathcap.
This allows you to be strong vs many of support brand's weaknesses as well, with your passive and spell damage able to mitigate the advantages of Sona, Alistar, Leona, and Gragas, because they can't heal back faster than you deal damage. Nami is still dangerous, not because of the heal, but because of the speed boosts her abilities grant. Braum is probably the biggest problem for this particular Brand.
Anyways, just my 2 cents. Thanks for reading this far, if you did.
