I played it but stopped playing when the developers told me that they won't include "report an enemy" button, because it would promote toxicity and make the game unhealthy.

whats wrong with having a cartoony artstyle? not every game has to be grimdark brown and bloom

whats wrong with not being able to report enemies? i can see reasons as to why you would want to do such a thing, but whats really wrong with not having it? furthermore its a stupid reason to not play a game.

There's a few things that make the cartoony style wrong:
1) Generally a cartoony style in a game is used either because the game does something with that, or to avoid an unrealistic-looking, yet realistic intended, world. Strife combines a realistic-looking environment with a semi-cartoon style consisting of really bright colours and cartoon characters.
2) It isn't coherent with the overall storyline and idea of the characters; they just don't mesh well.
3) The game contradicts itself by combining a cartoon style with the concept of a hardcore game. Yes they do "dumb it down", thus making it less complex than DotA and LoL but it isn't quite as simple as HotS, which uses a similar approach.

An example of a game which uses the cartoon style properly is Orcs Must Die. The game, right off the bat, doesn't really take itself too seriously. The main character is witty, funny, and speaks about the main quest as if it's just another day on the job. Additionally all the violence, explosions, etc. is all cartoon-esque as well. The game is coherent and puts all the elements together. Strife just doesn't.

1) it helps to distinguish between the environment and the characters, i thought that was something you all praised riot for when they revealed the new summoners rift.

2) i don't quite understand what you're saying here? how is it not coherent?

3) now you just sound like some 12 year old who thinks colors are for kid games. actually you sounded like that before.

Well I think that their reasoning behind not adding it is wrong and that you should be able to report your enemies or otherwise you have to ask the enemy team to do so which doesn't work if it is a 5-man premade. Have the at least added the ignore option for enemies as well? When I last played it it didn't even have that as an option.

1) You can also paint the ground brown, the sky blue, and the characters white. Then you have distinction as well. I'm saying the styles do not mesh well, even contradict eachother. The game combines realistic looking towers, buildings, floors, water, etc. with a colourful mishmash that are the characters. The styles clash and make it look weird.

2) The storyline and idea of the characters is dark and violent yet combined with colourful goofy-looking characters. In League of Legends everyone was aware that the style chosen had nothing to do with the game but with the physical limitations. In Strife you can see the amount of detail and realism, yet the game just takes itself a little too serious for that to be really working.

3) Or you're just too stupid to understand what I'm actually saying. It's generally a bad idea to combine a cartoony, childish, and casual appearance with a hardcore game experience. OMD is an example of a game that doesn't take itself too seriously and used this style perfectly. With Strife I just fail to see why they didn't go all the way with the cartoon style; why isn't the landscape all weird cartoony and why don't we have way too bright explosions or blood going about?

Bright colours and a cartoon style aren't necessary for children but it definitely doesn't scream competitive hardcore game. Combining the two confuses the audience and the fact that the visual style isn't present in all elements is just odd. You can call me a 12-year old all you want, but I can explain exactly why I think these styles don't work well. Meanwhile, you still have to give one single argument on why you think this is actually a good game, outside of the fact that it is just another MOBA.
