Im curious as to what will happen to the current jungle items. This version has them completely removed, but, they ought to integrate them somehow, right?
Not sure, they must have some new vision to that. They said they didn't like the current jungle items cause it was essentially too broad of a spectrum for each one. If you were literally any form of AD champion you got Elder lizard. If you were and AP or even some of the Tanks, you got wraith. Tanks were far and few but most of them got Golem (barring Amumu and Sejuani).
I'm so mad at the jungle changes already. It's weird to be stacking saplings for a 1:55 buff spawn, but it just never happens.
Sig courtesy of GrandmasterD. Go get your own sig from them. :D
I'm really excited about the changes and I feel like this might encourage me to pick up jungling. The best thing is that they're broadening the viable strategies. I grew sick of the narrow meta and this will probably make the game more exciting.
Though, give the koreans 3 months and they will have figured out what the best approach is and then that will be fixed...

Dat hurts
Best jungle clear seems so far: Golems (no smite), red (smite, you need dat hp), Crimsons (kill the little first, they deal more damage than the big one). Then back, get the upgraded jungle item and clear blue.
On Fiddle, you don't have do do this, on him, you can do start at gromp and then blue. He also needs no jungle item, it has no use on him, get doran's ring.

Without seeing it in full I like the change that stuff builds out of the smaller MR/Armor items.
But most stuff seems pretty half-baked again. Far beyond the fact that it's only experimential.
From the looks of it they want to desperately push the game into a new "exciting" direction and don't have the slightest clue about the gist of it. (Excluding jungle, which changes like every season..)
They cut down the late a bit, accelerate early but then empower towers to make hugging them a good idea if you're scared...
Beam+shields makes quick-diving to micro harass the enemy multiple times a wave practically impossible...

So.....yeah. League will not look even remotely the same come next season. In essence, Riot is rebuilding this game from the ground up. Jungle will be anything but recognizeable, and the flow of the game will be entirely different. Yes, alot of this is extremely tentative, but, it certainly looks Riot is wanting to try something completely different.
Bring it on. :D
