he already had a pretty weak early game, now its just weaker than almost all mid laners
riot seems to be on a trend of taking champions that arnt used that much and "changing" then to have a "hyper carry" late game and "weak" early game, and by weak i mean so weak they cant even reach the hyper carry status until 40+ minutes because theyre unable to do anything before that (see Cassiopia)

Keeping a 53% winrate this month in ranked. Maybe I'm bad, maybe everyone else is good, but damn. The removal of the silence hurt (me, atleast). A lot. Even if I could insta-burst somebody, they usually just flash away. I really wish Talon had an instant escape other than flash, like kat, zed, or lb :3 That's mainly wishful thinking, though.
As for your guide, Vapora, will you continue it?

After the nerf in the most recent patch where his silence is removed, it is easier to survive his burst especially when you can dodge his W. However, you will still take tons of damage from his Q + his passive and his ultimate. With a couple of auto attacks, he can still burst down a target easily.
The "balanced" part of talon imo is that he has a extremely weak early game now without his silence. Due to the high mana cost of his W early, poking with W isn't a wise option without having blue. Due to the removal of his silence, mid laners with decent dueling power can fight back the moment talon goes in with E and if they are able to dodge the W, I think that they will always come out ahead of the trades.
In conclusion, the removal of the silence should generally affect his laning and mid game bursting potential. In the late game, he's still a scary assassin.
