Aatrox draws in the blood of his foes, dealing 200 / 300 / 400 (+ 100% AP) magic damage to nearby enemy champions and gaining 20% of maximum Blood Well for each champion hit.

For the next 12 seconds, Aatrox gains 40 / 50 / 60% bonus attack speed and 225 bonus attack range (375 total range). He is still considered melee for item purposes.

Building AP, would cripple his other abilities. But adding a tri force might be benefitial, mostly because it also gives you AD, AS, health, crit chance, MS and the Phage and Spellblade passives.

it's not something I would run, not even on a ganky/assassin jungle Aatrox, but it might work.

I hear AP Darius is the funk too, assuming Lich Bane and Nashor's Tooth is part of it. Or was it AP Vayne? Actually, it might have been AP Draven. No wait, I think it was AP Zed, actually.

Why haven't people begun to use his ult potential burst damage? AP Aatrox maybe? assuming a Lichs bane and Nashors tooth are part of it.
