I'll buy Olaf soon, by the way. Lately I've been into jungling :D
When I'm accustomed to him, I'll try to give some more feedback on your ideas on items, although I doubt you want more from me, haha.

No, it's fine really. Any feedback at all is appreciated :)

I know this works, so there's no reason for me to degrade this guide. I'm just suggesting to get items that you might not have thought of.
I found Sunfire+wit's is an awesome core for an offtank. It provides great damage AND durability for the length of normal games so you can go full tank after that, you could also get that banshee's after that ;)
I do wonder why there are so few people active on Mobafire, I bet they're too lazy to make an account xD

Probably way too lazy haha. I guess I'll try the wits end sometime, I'll edit the "op" if I come back with results :)

I understand. I used to be a big fan of the Veil, but it got nerfed so often I don't like it anymore. Lately, I've been playing Irelia as an offtank, usually getting a Wit's End as my third item, after the sunfire cape and I've had great success with it... it's just so much boom for your buck, while remaining nearly unkillable. I feel Irelia is quite comparable to Olaf, they both have a lifegain/damage skill and are strong against CC.
Personally, I think Wit's End is even more useful for Olaf since he has a passive AS increase. You could also use this passive for other on-hit items (madred's as a final item?).

Again, that is straying a lot more towards the DPS side, my build does focus on more offtankishness. I guess I can enter in a little more about DPS offtankish] Olaf. The difference between Irelia and Olaf is that Irelia doesn't scale with her own HP. I mean, I guess it could work but that's just straying from what I personally like to play. Thanks for the amount of input you're actually giving me, though. It's a lot better than you just going "-1 get Wit's End noob."

Whut? You get a Frozen mallet before you'd get the Banshee's, right? You call that little to no health? No, a Wit's End would definitely be my item of choice after getting that permanent slow, given the people I'd like to kill have mana. If not, I'd probably get the Veil. It's just that the veil breaks on ANY skill, even one starfall will break it. I really can't find a good use for it against players who actually do have a brain. I think the Veil is more suitable for squishy carries who die after being stunned once.

Wit's End: 40% attack speed, 42(43?) damage, 30 magic resistance and the ability to bash away the enemy's mana. And all that for just 2100 gold. Yes please!

I don't know. I'm still not seeing what your point is because as you may notice, this build idsn't focused on DPS, it's off-tank and purely that. Rylais gives me the HP which scales off of Olaf's W and Atma's Impaler. I personally don't feel like Mallet gives enough HP to be suitable for late game scenarios (when you get the Atma's. You'll have mallet, wit's end, and Atma's Impaler. It's scaling purely off of your Mallet and natural HP gain. You'd only be getting 700 bonus HP whereas 375 more.. well That's pretty tempting if you ask me). I guess if you personally want to go for the more DPS-y kind of Olaf you can go ahead and get your Wit's End but personally I'd rather stick with the Banshee's Veil. More MR, HP, and MP for me. Again, the passive is only a BONUS, I'm not getting the Banshee's Veil for the passive. The HP MP and MR make up for that if you ask me. But now I'm just blabbering, it's personal choice. If you like Wit's End by all means go for it, but personally I'm sticking with my Veil.

You'd rather rush for a Force of Nature while you have little to no health and the item has very negligable health regen on account of your W being able to heal you substantially by the time you'd get it anyways? I don't see the logic there. Banshee's still has HP and Mana and Magic Resist with a fantastic passive. I still can't say there's a situation where you'd never want it unless the entire other team is heavy AD DPS. I think just having those stats for that price is really good but then BAM there's a BONUS (just a bonus, not the only reason why you'd ever get the item), you get to avoid 1 spell every 45 seconds FOR FREE. Health scales with your W and Atma's. Still not seeing why you'd get anything else early on for Magic Resist.
