What do you think to the idea of running Zhonya's & the new Seraphim's Embrace with Ingenious hunter on AP Shaco? Don't think it'd neccessarily be particularly effective, but the value of ~90s invuln & ~60s shield is nice. Could even swap out Collection for Z.Ward as oracle lens is on a lower CD so can max it faster & additional utility, though would probably only take it against people I know will spam wards at my rank like Lee Sin >.<

im gonna assume that you want to run liandrys -> demonic -> zhonyas/seraphs -> seraphs/zhonyas

im personally not a huge fan of zhoynas because i want to deal the maximum damage possible and you usually achieve that by going void staff after liandrys -> demonic. at that point, sure, zhonyas is a decent buy especially for less experienced ap shaco players that dont quite know the limits of their champ yet, it obviously also does for some cool outplays that arent possible without zhonyas, but i find those to be rather niche.
the big problem here in my opinion is that the shield from seraphs isnt really all that useful and you are taking ingenious hunter for a 3-4 item "powerspike" which honestly isnt really a powerspike if you think about it because to me seraphs just really isnt that great.
also with this build if the enemy team builds any magic resist at all you either have to delay the only reason to run your build in the first place and build void staff, or you go your build regardles but then deal very little damage.

TL.DR: i think seraphs is pretty bad and zhonyas is not really necessary but decent. you get very little value from ingenious hunter compared to treasure hunter and with this build you are very limited and not flexible at all when it comes to changing your build according to the enemy team

Ah, I forgot demonic is core these days tbh. I didn't play much last season so keep thinking back to liandrys, cosmic as core so was initially thinking zhonyas + seraphs as items 2+3 skipping cosmic then void staff. I was always turned off by the lack of AP on zonyas but found myself leaning towards it more since they upped it slightly, but it often felt awkward to buy a lot of games because something else was better suited to the matchup.
I'll probably still give it a go at some point, just because I like to see first hand just how bad an idea plays out, but am certainly less optimistic about it now. I've not tried treasure hunter yet tbh, so will give that a go first as the merits of an earlier liandrys are easy to see.

idk if its just me but I feel like shaco is useless at min 15 in the game.
let me explain this:

Im pretty new in this game but already an otp on that champ (I guess like every other shaco too)
and I feel like this characters perfomance really depends on your early game.

For example:
when you do a quick 3 camp clear to rush lvl 3 because you see a gank potential in bot lane.
Everytime I go for a gank and botlane kinda mess it up to go for a kill for any reason and we got no single kill it feels like so wasted time on shaco because the other jungle knows now where I am and I kinda loose the farm game (specially when there is a tank jgl like voli that I cant face in jungle). Because of that it feels like you need to gank more and lead your team but when there is no gank potential because everyone pushs there lane you sitting like there with way less farm than the other jgl and your snowballing is already fcked up because you are behind and cant even contest objectives.

My strat against an enemy shaco is just playing passive in lane till our jungle outfarms him and at min 15 he will be useless.

Like I said im pretty new in this game but it feels like that in every game against players in mid elo (gold+)

going for lvl 3 ganks is very risky and rarely worth it, in 99% of games you want to full clear or at least gank a lane that is next to your camps so that invades like that dont happen

[*] recently started playing a hella ton of shaco and been having problems finding a consistant build sometimes i go dusk>essence>ldr or collector>IE and then some situational . Thoughts? (PS been loving the streams recently , gl on that top 100)

i think the kraken build i talk about in this guide is the best overall build in terms of consistencey, give it a try :)

what i am currently testing which seems to bring me a lot of success is serrated dirk -> berserker greaves -> essence reaver -> collector -> infinity edge -> situational items

What about a mythic item?

from my testing a mythic item is pretty overrated honestly, ive had more success without a mythic because none of them really fit shaco properly

It just feel weird not getting a mythic ya know? Is Guardian Angel really better than having duskblade lategame?

i think duskblade is very strong atm, just not on shaco. i have a hard time including it in my build so im not sure what to do :/

Began to play Shaco and gotta say, even if the skill caps is high, he is a REALLY good and easy to use champion due to his kit. Had been helping mid to nab first blood on level 2 often. A lot of these games end before I can even finish IE, or as soon as I get IE it ends.
Still need to learn the whole jackbox trick to handle two camps at once, but overall it is a fun jungler to use compared to the others I tried. Just been banning Noc a lot cause of his counter gank potential and his spell shield blocking the fear from the boxes.
