Hello there, so like im currently in diamond but still find it quite hard to lane against sett since his passive outgheal the trade pattern im having. Do you have any tips?

Hey, before my first back i don't really try to damage him.

In this match up I want to bait a lot, be in his limit of reach for Q + E. If you it an E in that rang you can mka e him waste is Q with some movement, but still damage the soul.

Post 6 you want to have placed several tentacle behind you for his ult. Generally if you survive his ult you kill him easily.

I don't really have more tips, hope that help you ! :)

What game lasts until lv16? I never lost to Kayle (Lane/Side)

But Level 11 is enough, she just need to charge the passiv on the wave before Poke/Fight.
Illaoi have a bad match up against range champ, mostly against attack speed champ.

But the Kayle player need a good spacing too ;)

Stride breaker vs gore?

Goredrinker for the omnivamp, all stat on this item are strong, and the HP + CDR for each extra Item are very good.

Stridebreaker is actually very bad on Illaoi, the attack speed don't help a lot and if you want more slow take Iceborn Gauntlet.

Hi, I wanted to know what you think of the ravenous hydra for illaoi.

I don't think Ravenous Hydra can help to much Illaoi. You don't need the AoE damage because you clear very well with your kit, the good point for this item is the life steal, but difficult to use because the item don't give resistance.
Probably playable but become useless over time.

GREAT Illaoi build, I really recommend it. I don't know too much from items yet but this guide helps me though everything, the playstyle, items, what champs you should avoid and what not. Thank you so so much ASURYANN for this great guide, appreciate it! <3

So I found out that if you have Heartsteel on Illaoi, their spirit counts as a separate champion, so you can get a Heartsteel proc off the spirit AND the champion, so here's my question:
Is there a scenario where there can be a 4th Mythic option, being Heartsteel, and if so, is it more viable to go all damage at this point after Heartsteel or all tank?

The idea sounds good, in practice if you hit your E in max rang or if your opponent have mobility you can't proc your Heartsteel before the spirit disappears.
You can't push a lot early game.

I see a lot of streamer who try this item and the winrate in not insane (45% in Diamant+).

Playayble Item of course, with a black cleaver to deal something ^^

How can I play against poke matchups? I always find them really annoying and can’t do anything till 2 items at least

Sadly they will stay boring
Personnaly I play really safe the first 3 level, and I make slow push again and again to deny a lot of minion and win the lane like that.
You can look for a kill when you crash, you can dive with your jungler.
