The best source I found so far is the most recent viego guide of Perryjg on YouTube, but he mentions some completely different Items in a more recent video on Viego.
Just leaving this Information on what I found here for anyone looking for more recent guides.
Hope you might update the guide sometime but mostly want to thank you for making this champ playable for me in my early days of League by publishing this guide.
I have a question however: I'm a toplaner and rarely play jungle, do you think he could be viable toplane ? What would be the conditions (enemy laner or comp, etc.) and would the setups be the same as for jungle ? I'm still pisslow elo so I know that it'll work there (probably), but I was thinking of learning it for the long run, into specific team comps or enemy laners.
What do you think ?
Setup wise I'm probably running Conq/triumph/alacrity/last stand + magical footwear/cosmic insight into playable matchups and Grasp/demolish/second wind/overgrowth + triumph/alacrity
Horrible matchups however can be circumvented with half decent jungle syenrgy, being able to turn invis, gain ms, and lock someone down/cc chain with W with a decent ganking jungle pick can make things perfectly playable, if counterganks occur than the more the merrier for a Viego as you will be much more equipped to deal with a 2v2/3v3 than just about any other toplane pick
Tldr: Melee toplaner with minimal/average cc = Viego playable
Jungle pathing towards you = Viego good pick
Both Jungles pathing top = Viego rly good pick
What I'm mostly getting at is that sundered will proc for every single target you jump to while having great synergy with kraken slayer, giving you ridiculously high burst damage for a non crit build that deals and heals through every reset/new target
An enabler would be a champion that allows you to get your damage down more reliably. For example, Leona "enables" you to dish out damage by immobilizing a high priority enemy champion.
As for bans I truly think that players in low/mid elo should just ban whatever they feel frustrated by the most or gives some level of mental block. Even if it's some annoying toplaner you're worried about running over the game.
Also dw lol I love answering these
