i dont know how to start this so ill just go strait into business: runes- stacking ap isnt always the smartest thing you can do, since 1-2 magic resist items can simply counter you, and this will be a ***** if you have a whole enemy team getting banshee etc, so without any optional runes this might turn bad against a soraka in the lane :P

items, guinsoo is not a good late game item, since the ap is no longer that strong, and the attack speed comes too late (needs to be stacked) so it should be replaced by something else, also, there are no optional items, ppl may pick something they want, but some other people aren't that experienced and needs some help in stuff like that.

thats in short why i downvoted, dont take this personally, try to use my feedback to make this guide better.

Fantastic build! Major props, I had played around with Kog'Maw builds with a similar ideology in mind, but this is by far my favourite build. It's versatility in remaining with the early game AD if playing against heroes that capitalize upon AP stack (ex. Veigar), as well as staying hybrid AD/AP is pristine. True, Kog'Maw, especially with this build, is squishy. However, the insane damage output allows you to play defensively (poking and pushing softer) at the same time hitting with power. It balances the squishiness with massive damage. Being squishy isn't a concern if you play smart, the occasional unavoidable gank is always a downer, but taking a few deaths from ganks is a fair trade, in my eyes, when I get 20+ kills, and countless assists. After all, Kog'Maw is an insect, insects get squished sometimes. Great build, thanks for the post!

Will Mobafire let me vote twice?... Great build for glass machine gunning... Flash is your only escape... I would drop Exhaust for ghost, but exhaust would help early game enemy kills. Hurray for Kog'Maw I raped pretty hard 1st trying this build... I think I'll have another.

This build i would say is glass Machine Gun... As the guide mentions, you will not survive in the front lines, but picking the unsuspecting off from afar this does very quickly. And tanks; tanks have no life vs Kog'Maw. They run like squishies. I also realized as Kog'Maw you really save Ult for kill shots not harassment in early game.

It's sound, but I would recommend getting one survivability item. Perhaps drop Malady for a Banshee's Veil? That will dramatically improve the consistency.
