Actually I have to disagree with Maw being a "poor option" a lot.
As Maw gives you a nice burst shield scaling with MR, it has great synergy with Jax`s ult active. If you activate your ult during combat and the shield gets popped, the shield gains over 100 bonus points alone from Maws MR and the MR from your ult...

As Jax loves items that give him both offense stats AND defense stats (especially HP/shields), Maw is actually a great item on him. Even more if you think that it gives some nice (although irrelevant) armor pen as well as lifesteal/spellvamp if the passive triggers. The items just offers a lot of different things and slot utility that benefit Jax greatly. This is not only resembled by its high price but also why a lot of high elo players like to build it on Jax in certain matchups vs AP heavy team comps. Still think Maw being a poor option? Hopefully not.

All in all a nice guide, proper formatting would make it even better.

Great guide! Also what do you think about switching titanic hydra for ravenous?

To be fair I feel like noone knows about the resists and still builds resist items like a reguliar bruiser. Even other jax players in diamond I see build itmes like ga as first defence item. There ia no point in having 300 arnor if you have 1500 hp. Better stack woth health items.

After reading your guide, I feel a bit stupid that after playing Jax for so long, I didn't get his main concept: your ult already give ar/mr, so build hp instead! You're right, there's not much reason to get a Maw when you can get Frozen Mallet instead which synergizes more with your ult. I feel like I already wreck everything with just Triforce/Mallet/Titanic that any item afterwards is just a luxury.

Amazing guide i started playing ranked jax a couple days ago with another friend as soraka and we rekt the enemies in most matches. my friend strugled to get outside of silver 4 and me from gold 5 and in two days we both got 2 divisions up! (My friend got silver 2 and me got Gold 3)

Im afraid I cant, my pc is broken and now I use my old laptop, but its too slow for me to record a video.

thats sorta can be done if u register at replay.gg and play 1 game with jax i can then review your replay and record it and send you a link to the video to download it and use it however you want.
Also what is ur opinion about warlords bloodlust and in which region are you?

Im on eune and warlords bloodlust is absolutely horriblr. The damahe from fervor is just insane and you dont want to miss it. Also most of jaxs damage is either onhit or hybrid, meaning you wont get much healing from warlord. Better stick with fervor. As for replay.gg ill try it sometime this week.

yes thats good too even though a ranked game would be more realistic but they might invade you. i also got mastery 7 on jax xDDD

You should do a lot of research! I did that and found so much information and it made my guide look so much better. Basically you are going to need to learn how to BBcode properly

Have you considered changing the build around to fit with the Trinity Changes?

I think I shold do it probably in a day or two.

Why not lifesteal on this build?

You dont really need lifesteal with how tanky you are, and I find raw tank stats to be better than lifesteal. For sustain you could go warmog as 1 of the tank items, or you can swap trinity force for gunblade if you really want sustain.
