Interesting Aatrox guide! great job providing necessary insight and the basics on how to play him efficiently and while making the most out of him. He's a really underrated champion right now. This guide though, could definitely benefit from a visual upgrade. Great job!

is he a good, balanced champion this patch? or should i not bother learning him?

He's not really that good, but he is better than he has been in the past :) If you are really looking to play good top laners I suggest sitting down and learning how to play Nasus or Illaoi for good carry picks or learning Sion, Maokai, and Malphite for good tank picks!

Good luck! Probably max Q first, rush sunfire or abyssal mask depending on matchup, and then either Grasp of the Undying or Aftershock since those are both good on him and give him more damage and tank stats!

You max Q first because of it's strong wave clear since he gets shoved under tower easily if you don't. However, maxing W first is also good because it increases the root duration, but I would only do that if your jungler is ganking for you a lot.

Glad you liked it! I'll try and make an Aatrox jungle guide by the end of this month or beginning of next month.

I'm pretty sure you will have to take Press The Attack for Aatrox jungle so you can gank better, but I would need to see what items to build for jungle and if he builds warrior or bloodrazor but I'll let you know in a guide soon!

Glad to hear that! If you have any questions you can ask me, but best to learn from playing and trying new things out. I'm starting to take Press the Attack for some games just because it is so good for trading, but still trying new things!
