Why nunu bot? Its because nunu bot has all the thing u need to be a good support. Due to the 8.2 update, nunu has become one of the best jglers but in my theory. He might be the next meta defining support carries.

Consume gives him good hp sustain. stacks up with Revitalize for 5-10% more heal

Blood Boil At level 1 for a 25% attack speed buff for you and your adc aswell as proxing your Guardian runes for both sheilding and movespeed for both. Revitalize is also going to make it stronger.

Ice Blast Realy strong poke with 90% ap scaling. slows thier move speed by 40% at level 1 and also slowing thier attack speed by 25%. and thats a huge counter to all adcs.

Absolute Zero very good zoneing skill. if left untouched even building full tank is going to cause alot of damage. and with the new patches Baron and Elder controlling is going to be key in games.

Guardian is going to be useful for your adc to absorb pokes and going in/out. when u Blood Boil your adc, its going to prox when u or your adc gets hit. We all know that Guardian scale off your max hp and ap. so ap tank nunu support is going to get all the benifits for your adc. the effect will also increase from your Revitalize

Font of Life ahh this is were it gets interesting. this ablity scales better with the more hp u have stacking with Revitalize. so a tank support is going to get much more value from the healing. since nunus Ice Blast is a slow and has very small cool down. you will be able to make the most out of most supports. same with Absolute Zero. But the most important power spike also comes with this rune. Ardent Censer its important to note that this buff also buff your self. for the people that you e or ulti, its going to applie the Font of Life from your allies attacking them they are going to get healed witch prox the Ardent Censer for you and your adc to get on hit attack speed buffs.

Second Wind nunu is a some what short ranged champ and its no doubt your going to get pokes by other adc and supports. so taking Second Wind is going to help u more at staying alive. note that Second Wind scale off max hp aswell. with Revitalize its going to heal back even more.

Revitalize this is also important because it makes all your other runes gain more benifit and more sheilding / heal to your adc. making your Consume heal more etc.

Manaflow Band because you have Consume and Second Wind you dont need much heal. but u need more mana.

Gathering Storm you will end up being a huge tank but your ablites scale so good with ap. getting Gathering Storm is going to make you deal alot of damage while keeping your self alive and useful.

during backing or headding to lain. you want to Consume jungle monsters for your buffs. you dont have to take the larg monsters. and its important to keep your Consume stacks up without losing it all.

timeing a good Blood Boil on your adc and giving a good timed Ice Blast is going to trade greatly for your allies. with increased ap and damage from your w e combo.

note that its important to know who to Blood Boil some times you want to buff your mid lain for increased ap and its buff is huge. or give it to your jglers for ganks for more movement speed or for better follow ups.

your consume is going to help alot at dragon control and doing barons etc because they can turn games around.

nunu is not item dependent. because his ablites by it self provides so much utility buffs and de buffs. but its important that hes thier for the actions.

2/26/2018 . went S+ with support nunu 12-4-19. with varuis adc. fiddle jg and yasuo mid teemo top. in this team. nunu can Blood Boil any one. yasuo for lowwer cd of his q and moblity. fiddle for him to ult more damage and move faster. teemo for more aa on hit dps and push powers. nunu support will be able to control the game based on what the match needs.
