Hey everyone and thanks for clicking on my guide/build for Vayne! I'll be breaking down every aspect of how i play vayne. Her runes,masteries,summoner spells,items, and how to play in game. Dont be afraid to leave a comment with some pointers on how i can improve both the guide and my own personal gameplay.

Get tumble first, then silver bolts, and condemn at lvl 4. Tumble is your priority followed by your ult, silver bolts, and condemn. Just keep this in mind and your skill lvling will be fine.

Runes
For runes i take armor pen marks and quints, attack speed seals, and magic resist per lvl glyphs. The attack speed is always great on a ranged ad carry and i like magic resist glyphs because casters with long range like brand or lux will give Vayne trouble with their harassing.

Masteries
I go 23-0-7. I make sure i get every important offensive ability and of course get my improved summoner spells.

Summoner Spells

I take exhaust and ghost. Some people use flash but i like ghost so much better cause it works great with Vaynes chasing. Exhaust makes your 1v1 even more amazing then it already is. Ive been at 25% health, had a TF ult me and i just exhausted, ulted, and destroyed him.

Dorans blade is a great starting item for ad carries. It gives health, a bit of ad which helps with last hitting, and a small amount of lifesteal.

Berserker's Greaves add attack speed which is always great for vayne.

Ghostblade Ive been laughed at for getting ghostblade but imho it what makes both this build and vayne amazing. It has everything vayne needs to be great. Attack speed, armor pen, CD reduction, Crit and a move speed boost.

Infinity Edge This puts your build takes every item you get an amplifies it by a huge amount. Your crits will hit harder and you will be gaining more life from your lifesteal. And it also increases the damage done by your tumble.

Blood Thirster With vayne being so squishy she NEEDS lifesteal to stay alive in team fights and to stay in lane longer. The vamp scepter you grab early with keep you in lane and when you turn it into BT you will be able to stay in team fights for a longer period of time.

Phantom Dancer Move speed, crit, attack speed. What more can you ask for?? A great item for vayne.

Pros:

INSANE single target damage mid/late game.
Tumble/Condemn helps to escape.
Great counter to tanky dps.
Amazing at chasing.

Cons:
Super squishy.
Early lvls can be a tad difficult if the enemy is constantly poking you.
Can be focused down pretty quick.
Pure single target damage.

Early Game 1-5
Grab a dorans blade and head out to your lane. Mid is the best imo since it gives you the opportunity to focus on last hitting and farming gold. Be pretty passive early while your health increases. Only tumble poke your enemy if you see a good opening like when theres little enemy minions around.(cause trust me enemy minions rape vayne early)

Mid Game 6-13

Once you hit lvl 6 and get your ult you should look for a potential gank on top or bot.(only if your enemy isnt pushing your turret). Ult in the bush on the river near top/bot then tumble behind an enemy and push them further into your lane with Condemn. If you and your team work together this should ALWAYS result in a kill. Sometimes a double kill. If you happened to gank the lane dragon is on and the gank was a success grab dragon with your team.

Late Game 14-18

This is the most entertaining time to play Vayne. By now you probably have a few items completed and are stacking your BT. You'll be criting like a beast and be healing yourself for crazy amounts. In team fights focus on destroying the enemy squishy's and pushing tanks out of the way.

Your job is to shred the enemy squishy's. Thats what you do best and what you should stick to. Never NEVER NEVER go in first to a team fight. You will be focused down in a millisecond. Wait for the initiator of your team to get the attention then activate your ghostblade and ult tumble behind an unsuspecting carry and begin to destroy them. It should only take a few hits.(not joking) Then tumble over and exhaust another carry and take them down.. Your lifesteal is amazing and you should be able to fight through any damage being thrown your way by now. Once the carries are down focus on whoever your team is on atm.

If the fight isnt going your way and you need to escape you have multiple great ways to escape. Tumble out and either hit your ghostblade(if its up) or your ghost and start running. If anyone comes near you push them back with condemn and keep running.

If the fight went in your favor and theres a runner use your ghost offensively and chase him/her down. Vayne is top notch when it comes to the chase.
