Thank you, but after investigating a little bit in forums I found out some info that proved some of my calculations wrong. I corrected the guide so now it is a 100% perfect. If you read it again you will realize that getting too much penetration is not the best thing yo do.

The only things that can lower someone's magic resistance below 0, are Soraka's Q, Malady, and Other similar effects that specifically "lower" someone's magic resistance.

Magic Penetration caps of when they have 0 MR.

It's the same with armor.

Also, the formula for damage reduction with negative magic resistance is (100/100+MR), that means that with negative 100, you would do infinite damage.

One of the main reasons that Magic pen can't go below 0.

I understand what Smokey means, though there are some things that he got wrong from what he read. Anyways I am gonna correct the guide on friday cause that's the last day I have exams this month.

I’m not sure where you are getting your information from, but from the sources that I have read say differently. Magic/Armor penetration CANNOT reduce a target’s resistance below zero. Magic/Armor reduction can, but it is applied BEFORE penetration. The order of application:

1. Percentage Magic Resistance Reduction
2. Flat Magic Resistance Reduction
3. Flat Magic Penetration
4. Percentage Magic Penetration

This means that against someone with 30 MR and you are a fiddlesticks with an abyssal scepter (for a total of 30 Flat magic resist reduction), it DOESN'T matter how much magic penetration you have when attacking that person. Obviously you have to consider the whole team, but I'm just pointing that out for everyone.

Another thing you have incorrect, you have to have a fiddlesticks around (10) w/ abyssal scepter(20), be hit by amumu(35), full stack of malady(24), and standing on a tormented soil for the full 5 seconds(40) for a total of 130 Magic Reduction, more or less enough to do 50% more damage to champs with the base 30 resist.

Also, it is impossible to do double damage. Extra damage is calculated the same as damage reduction. Damage Multiplier = 100 / (100 + MR). Thus, even 1000 magic reduction would only give you your fabled 90.9% extra spell damage.

Plenty of resources covering this on the web, please look into this and make appropriate changes so not to confuse newbies. Start here and work your way around the internets :-)
