Hey there, my name is Carried By Love and this is my first guide on mobafire. (How many times have you read that in a guide? LoL?) Aatrox is the new champ and damn he seems OP. So far I've seen everyone playing Aatrox as a solo top ad glass cannon champ with lots of life steal and it makes me scratch my head a little. I think you guys should reread his spells; yes his Q and W scale on ad, however, his E and R also scale on ap! Not only does 50% of his kit scale on ap, they get outstanding ratios: 60% on his E and 100% on his R, yes 100%! (His R also deals ridiculous damage just for pressing R, everyone seems to overlook that, oh ya and its also aoe to everyone around him :D)
So as you can see Aatrox is clearly a hybrid, lets call him the new Jax with a better jump, stun, zac passive, ranged poke, and godly sustain. BRING IN THE WEEK 1 NERF BAT

The runes are pretty straight forward I went with hybrid marks, armor seals, scaling mr glyphs, and move speed quints because it seems like being slow as dirt is Aatrox's main weakness. (Well, that and ignite lol) I've also tried attack speed marks and lifesteal quints its really just personal preference.

Same thing with the masteries, more arp and m pen. I went for cdr because Aatrox has built in attack speed from his passive. I put 3 points in move speed because again Aatrox moves like a turtle, not a fast turtle like Rammus but a slow, slow sad turtle. The rest i put in the usual jungle talents and tankiness because after all aatrox is a melee jungler.
