Pros:

+High sustain
+Good CC
+Great peel and synergy with most carries
+Very easy to get used to

Nami is a great champion overall because she has a lot of peel and engage potential while also being very safe and staying at a distance.

Cons:

-Low mobility
-Easy to kill when focused by high burst champions
-Not very high range and can hardly win trades

The main point of Guardian is to offer peeling and mobility to your teammates while also staying at a safe distance away from enemy champions. Since guardian can be activated using your E, you can boost up your allies to help them engage while also boosting yourself up a little so you can get out of fights or dodge abilities.

A lot of these runes help you to have sustain or increase your healing/improve your support abilities like revitalize or presence of mind. You can pick whatever fits you and almost everything is a decent option as long as you can utilize it. For example if you like using your ultimate a lot, you can go for Ultimate Hunter.

In teamfights you usually want to stay away from the damage and near your allies so you can use your abilities onto them. Pick a target to put your E on and heal everyone that is either being targetted or low HP and still able to do something in the fight.

Your ultimtae can be a great engage but can also be used as a good CC from a safe distance against abilities like Vel' Koz ultimate so you have to decide for yourself which works best.

Mainly you want to take down high burst champions since they are the biggest threat to your and your allies and one of the best ways to hit your stun [Q] which is your most effective tool, is to use it right under you since they'll likely dodge if you try to predict their movement.

The items can and should be changed since no game is the same but usually you want to go for a high heal and shield power while also having a decent amount of health/protections so you aren't that squishy. Items like shurelya's can offer a lot of mobility, survivability and engage options so you should buy what fits you the best but usually you should just follow the standard build.

In rough games for example against fed high burst champions you should go for Zhonya's Hourglass because it will definitely be useful and help you survive and do more. You shouldn't hesitate buying it if you're dying a lot because a dead nami does less than one without a lot of support items.
