Introduction - Kog'Maw AD.

Hello, and welcome to my Kog'Maw AD Carry guide. This will take you through how I suggest playing him.

Kog'Maw is a champion with not alot mobility, which is why you are gonna have to position youself great with him, in order to do some real damage. As I play him AD you are gonna have to be atleast decent in last hitting minions. If you dont have a good minion farm at mid game, your are gonna be useless for your team.

Position and last hitting are the key things behind Kog'Maw. If you fail to do that, you have failed as a Kog'Maw AD.

Runes - Fast Kills.

So you may wonder why I have these runes?

It is simply because I always, with any champion, go for a quick kill at the start, so that I am ahead of pretty much everyone else in the game. Which makes the game more enjoyable than being behind everyone in score, gold and items.

I always go for a quick kill at the start. I want to be controlling the game, which I do best with more gold than any other.

Items - Why Lantern?

Wriggles Lantern? Why that item?

Simply because it is a GREAT early game item. As it provides you with, Armor, Lifesteal, and Damage. But it also have 2 unique passives. It gives a ward every 3 minutes, so it is a free ward 24/7 if you remember to use it. It also haves a 20% chance to do 435 damage to minions, which is a nice chance, and it will get you some more minions which means more gold. As you will be laning bot, you will most likely fight another AD carry, so the Armor is good, the Lifesteal is really good, and then there is Damage, which is essential for you.

Wriggles Lantern, great for fighting other AD Carries at early game, as it provides Damage, Lifesteal, Armor, a Ward and a chance to do alot damage on minions.

Skill Sequence - Teamfight.

When engaging in a teamfight theres a few things you will need to do.

You will need to position you behind your tanks or off-tanks. When you feel that you are in a right spot, use your Bio-Arcane Barrage as it increases your range, and does damage depending on your enemy total health. If you can, use your Caustic Spittle on their AD Carry, and damage him down, as when you use your Caustic Spittle, and auto attack with your Bio-Arcane Barrage on, it does alot more damage. When you are hunting them down, use your Living Artillery to make sure to get the kill. If you lose the fight, use your Void Ooze infront of you, and run through it, as it will slow down your enemies and you can run with a normal run speed.

Make sure to save mana if you are to hunt them down, as your ultimate takes more and more mana to use if used it rapidly within a timezone of around 5 secs.

Summoner Spells - Why?

I play Kog'Maw as a AD Carry. Which is why I choose the summoner spells after that.

Heal and Flash is pretty much what everyone uses for an AD Carry, and no exeption here. Using that, is though, what I feel like is for people who are new to playing that role. I usually go with either Exhaust or Ignite instead of Heal.

Choose your summoner spells after what you feel is good for playing Kog'Maw, instead of what everyone else is using.

Summary - Kog'Maw is Great.

Kog'Maw is a great champion.

Why? He is a champion that has it flaws, but also its pros. It is not a champion I would reccomend buying unless you are a more skilled Leauge of Legends player, as he is harder to master than alot others. But if you already have the feel of playing an AD Carry go ahead and own some scrubs with Kog'Maw.

Kog'Maw is one of the more challenging champions to master.
