I really like this build and feel that combining AP and AS is the best way to build Fizz. I have not tried pure AP yet (I probably should) or jungling but I think the increase in DPS given by the AS is crucial in Fizz.

The only problems I have, are with Fizz's weaknesses. He is already my favorite champion but when I lose, I often don't even reach the RoA before the game ends (if I can I usually break even in my K/D ratio). He is very gold dependent. He is also very weak to CC as it prevents the use of your E. I played against an Alistar mid (yes that's right, Alistar) and couldn't do a thing because of his heavy CC + heal. I have found champions with a lot of CC or heals to be very difficult to deal with (especially a good Trynd- he just tower dives and you die). He also seems to be very good at 1v1 and small fights (2v2 or 3v3) but when it gets into a teamfight Fizz gets focused hard and can't do anything, and ideas about what to do to fix this?

Perhaps a Doran's Ring would be a good starting item for the extra health and mana regen (not to mention AP as well).

Fizz damage comes mostly from his W, so AS is the thing we should go. What i try next time, i will go for Guinsoo's Rageblade instead of Nashors tooth. Because i think Fizz will do better with it.

Rageblade might be cool but Nashor's Tooth CD reduction is so tastey as well. I love cd reduction because I love to spam Playful/Trickster aka his E to catch my enemies or just to flee from enemies as well. :)

wouldn't a Madred's Bloodrazor be good for fizz ? Just for the Passive: Your basic attacks deal bonus magic damage equal to 4% of the target's maximum Health.

I love this guide because I think the attack speed makes Fizz so good even with just Malady. The only thing I don't like about the guide is 30 points in offensive mastery is a lil too crazy for me because I'm a huge fan of the movement speed in the utility tree. :) Awesome guide though! The items for Fizz you list are really the best imo!

I've been sucking at him, no idea how to build him. And then I used this build and got 15/5. So good.

Yeah. They're definitely both good viable options. As with all guides, pick and select what you think works better in each case :)
As for the Malady, I chose it because it's quicker to get early-mid game (if you are good at farming) where you can really pull ahead with kills. It's really the Magic Resist debuff that lead me to Malady, as it links in well with Fizz's abilities.
Thanks for the advice. I'm definitely open to try as many options with this type of build as possible. :)

I know this sounds silly but bear with me here. Instead of that malady I'd recommend either a gunblade or Madred's Bloodrazor. Simply becaues of the vamp and extra nuke gunblade gives or the 4% of total health Madred's gives. Madred's also gives more attack speed while granting slightly more tankiness and more damage on your auto attacks. Pound for poound I think either of these items, though expensive, would do the trick better.

Good thinking. Plus, getting the catalyst, every time you level, you gain manna back.

I would stick with the 30 offense because that mana regen is pointless mid to late game. Early game can be fixed by buying 2 mana pots and 1 hp pot. ~It is just an opinion, doesn't mean it has to be that way.
