Introduction
Same with the runes, the masteries I've chosen are to gain the biggest AP buffs for game play. Also, mana control is a big part of this mastery tree. A possible alternative would be to substitute over some of the utility masteries to benefit your play style. Good Hands, Swiftness, and Transmutation are great for being able to get the most aggressive in a lane, though you sacrifice mana masteries.
These items start out Mana-Strong to keep you in a lane as long as possible. They then focus on utility, with the Catalyst the Protector, Sorcerers Shoes, and Rod of Ages. Lastly, the items focus on AP damage. With your runes and masteries set up for AP, it will keep you active early game. Then, building up the items, you can completely dominate late game.
I take Orb first for, of course, the attack skill. Next I move straight to Charm to be able to gain early control over my lane opponent(s). Level 3 I take Fox Fire to be able to utilize all 3 skills early game. I max out Orb first for the sheer damage to eliminate minions and enemy champions. I then Balance maxing out Fox Fire and Charm due to there different uses in a lane for different occasions. I like to have Fox Fire out when there are minions in my lane who need to be taken care of. Charm is great for damaging solo units and for attracting champions to get off a kill. I max out Charm first because I can also use the Orb to take out multiple units. I also upgrade my ultimate every chance I get.
Ahri is already a great champion for taking out enemy champions. I take Exhaust over Flash because I can use it to slow down a champion who is chasing, an enemy I'm chasing, or to help a teammate for either of those situations. It combos well with charm when I have 2 enemy champions I'm attempting to gank or chase. Ahri is great at getting away from enemies, especially with her ultimate, so flash isn't totally useful for that situation. Also, Ahri can get over walls with her ultimate, so flash is substituted for that reason as well. I take ignite to finish off champions after Ive used my bursts. It also combos well with charm. Ahri can easily draw first blood after obtaining level 2 with her Orb, Charm, Exhaust, and Ignite. Though, you probably won't need to use all 4.
This is a very aggressive build for Ahri and is great for lane control. It's more of a intermediate build, but beginners should be able to understand what to do and not to do after using the build for a few matches. She is very fun to play with and I hope everyone enjoys my build for Ahri, The 9 Tail Fox.
