Introduction to Ahri, The queen of skillshots
Thank you for even attempting to read my guide.
This guide is all about hitting hard with all the skill shots that Ahri uses and will explain my way of playing this new character.
I believe that Ahri's true potential lies within her skill shot ability's and that she is queen of skill shot's because none of her moves are just a simple point and click, meaning not everyone will be able to use her correctly, also those with lag in game might aswell just leave, cause skill shots are just twice as hard.
I don't know what runes the other Ahri's are using but the way I play always seems to hit harder then them the later the game gets and gives me an edge over them.
I use all my runes for AP per level so as I build up to my Needlessly Large Rod I still have more AP then the others or at least close to them. My quintessence's are also there to help me start off with a small AP boost.

I aim at maximizing this characters damage output with the 21 points being in the offensive, this giving me increased AP and damage to champions while the remaining 9 points will be in utility which allows me to increase Ahri's mana regeneration and allow movement speed to allow easier chasing and retreating. Some may put the two points spent in swiftness into transmutation to allow the extra 2% spell vamp but that is each owns opinion
Doran's Ring
I get this first because of the nice mana regen on it helps me stay in lane longer and the AP helps with my passive's life gaining.
Sorcerer's Shoes
What's not to like, you run faster and your spell's will hit harder, a great choice I think.
Rabadon's Deathcap
The amount of AP this thing give's our sweet little Ahri is godly and the amount of spell vamp that allows is lovely.
Void Staff
AP and spell penetration, think about it.
Rylai's Crystal Scepter
This allows Ahri to become a little more beefy and take some more damage while increasing your damage and slowing down your retreating opponents. This also will allow you to retreat and live more because it will slow down chasing opponents.
Banshee's Veil
This is situational to me but I believe it works, it allows you live more and will stop an annoying spell from being cast on you.

This build is all about her skill shots for a reason, they are Ahri's bread and butter of attacking.
Orb of Deception
This is maxed out first for me because it is her default method of attacking and retreating, throw it out past them to deal magic damage, then on the way back, hit them harder for true damage.
Fox-Fire
This is pretty good but not my favorite move since there is no real targeting to it, hey i could be wrong. Anyways this is good late game tho when Ahri is using her ultimate, jump in and cast, then just keep jumping around the opponents.
Charm A ranged skill shot taunt, epic. When using this always follow up with her Orb of Deception upon hitting. This allows you to get full damage upon them while continuing to auto attack. This is also a great move to stop running enemies and to slow chasing opposition as their "Walking" speed is slow then them chasing you.
Spirit Rush
This is just wow. In simple terms its a triple flash with damage add on, which means you can't really be ganked with this. Use this to chase fleeing opponents or to engage a low health champion. Even use it as a way to retreat to the other side of the map if you want, it basically can.

The bread and butter of this character is her Q ( Orb of Deception ) and E ( Charm )
If I ever land her E I automatically follow up with her Q as they are taunted to walk towards me in a straight line, this way the will take the magic damage of the ball when it passes out the first time and then the true damage on the way back.
Another small move is to use her Spirit Rush to dash around an opponent while igniting them as you do, this way they are taking a beating while not being able to cast any point and click moves on you as you dart around. If you are in mid to late game stages you can also combo this with your Fox-Fire by pausing to cast it after jumping to the other champion.

To farm well with her I usualy run up to an incoming minion wave and throw my Q out as the first minion touch's Ahri then turn and run, this way the ball flings out to reach the last minion in line so that all minion's get hit along the way back with true damage. If your AP is about 300 this will normally will wipe out the entire minion wave.
During A team fight, Ahri should always remain on the edges of the fight, constantly sending her ball in to hurt people. Always keep an eye out for any low health champions and cast her Charm at them to make sure they don't escape. Only chase and use her ult to finish off others when it is either your kill or you know your teammates will not be able to catch and defeat the running champion.
