Your math is wrong... 600 crit from IE (with only 25%ish crit chance) and another 200ish from sheen. + 450dmgQ = about 1300dmg in one burst (considering you get the crit off) (With the core of IE TF and Gunblade and maybe even rabadons?)

Whereas full AP you have 500ish ap for a lot less money. Your Q does around 700dmg then your next melee does 100base + 500 lich bane = 1300 as well. And you ult and r do more dmg. Whereas you ad will be consistently usefull, but akali is not consistent. (eventhough its also 1300 dmg this is just Rylai's LB and RD, which is decently cheap in comparison to you IE and TF)

I'm not sure if I like this build or not. I'm not a huge fan of crit chance on Akali, but I could imagine it being effective. If you have an Infinity Edge in your build however, you really should invest 3 points into Lethality in the offensive tree, it'll really boost your damage output much more than Alacrity.

Inf edge akali is op. I commonly use a build very similar to this. It really does work.
