There are several basic things I would like to make note of in this guide. First off, I would like to say that the order you max your skills in is totally up to you. I like to max the Q first since it's mark consumption, plus the Lich Bane proc on activation, makes for serious one hit damage output. If you prefer to max the E first for greater wave clear potential, that is entirely up to you. Second, while I advertise this build as being for mid, one could use this build in the Jungle or in Top Lane, though I will upload an AD Top Lane build and both AP and AD jungle builds at a later date. Lastly, I suggest the Luden's Echo, Abyssal Scepter and Zhonya's Hourglass as good situational items, and your choice of boots and enchantment are totally optional. Since Akali is a melee mid, if you find yourself getting bullied hard (or since she dies quickly to hard crowd controls), you may want to take Mercury Treads over the Ionian Boots, or take your Abyssal Scepter Earlier. The only real definite in this guide is that you NEED to get your Lich Bane first. You use your abilities too regularly, and the Spellblade Proc and flat Ability Power are far too important to wait for.

***REMEMBER*** Your ultimate can be used on minions and Jungle Camps as an escape.
