Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This build is just to show HeAt if he agrees with my starting build for Akali. Hope you're reading this!
1. 6.25 AD (3 quints) + 0.27 AD (3 glyphs) + 3 AD (masteries)= 10.02 AD which surpasses Long Sword by 0.02 AD? So shouldn't my last hitting be just a little bit stronger than getting Long Sword?
2. I decided that maybe my worship for Rylai's Scepter was a bit misguided, but doesn't getting Amplifying Tome (+20 AP) as starting item make me just that much closer to making Hextech Revolver (+40 AP & 10% spell vamp)?
3. My AP isn't only a total of 20, check this out:
5.94 AP (6 glyphs) + 20 AP (from amplifying tome) + 0.6 AP (masteries) = 26.54 AP
reply back please :)
P.S. the main two reasons I am fighting for this build to work out is because the AD runes are so dirt cheap to buy (will get them once i hit lvl 30 lol) and I feel that Long Sword is an inferior starting item because it isn't getting you to upgrade to Hextech Revolver as fast as you would as opposed to if you bought Amplifying Tome first. BTW, when you were talking about not leaving laning phase until lvl 12, does that apply to both 3v3 and 5v5? I'm mostly a 3v3 player hehe ^_~
HeAt's quote that I am responding to:
"you just seem to be focused on the fact that rylais is the be all and end all of akali. Yes it is key but if you have ANY comprehension of how to farm, you dont need it right away.
now for your calculations,
so i will start with 23 ap, your book only gives you 20, plus my masteries in archmage's and ardors,
when i buy a longsword, it also buffs my E damage, on top of everything previous.
some people do what potatis does and grab dorans just by grabbing like 2 AD marks, the masteries then buying dorans, while maintaining the ap. I was just never a fan and you STILL dont get closer to your goal.
So cool, you got 425 gold closer to buying your "magical rylais", dont you think there is a reason i tell you to get revolver first, there is SYNERGY.
The SECOND you finish that revolver, you are healing, alot. In high elo you cant afford to just go around effortlessly ganking and raping people, you have to conserve until late game and die as LITTLE as possible. As akali i tend to stay in lane phase until level 12, just to put that out there. By Level 7 you should have about 1.2k gold, maybe a bit into 7. Then go back for your revolver, stay in lane or at least if you are with a ranged, give them some solo time and jungle after 7.
I am just used to a different playstyle i guess, but until ganking phase, you cant afford to leave your lane, you need to accumulate as much gold as possible in lane phase, if you get kills in your lane cool, if not.. dont leave.
