Akali is one of the funnest champs to play in the game. She deals great burst damage and has many escape mechanisms. Overall a must have for anyone's champ selection.

The reason for my runes listed above is to trigger one of Akali's passives. She will deal 10 percent more damage for the first 20 ability power she has. The other passive will be triggered by buying a dorans blade as the first item. Seals are Greater seals of Fortitude so Akali can have more health for early game.

I put 21 points in defense so that Akali is not as squishy. Survivability is always first. The longer Akali survives the more burst damage she can put out. The rest goes into utility since you always want to level up fast.

This build is great for Akali. You should start out with a dorans blade to trigger her ad passive giving her spell vamp right at the start. Afterwards, you should get her Ryalais so that nobody will be able to run from you. Hextech gunblade is a must too since it makes her passives even better and the unique passive is good too. These are the three main core items. Afterwards, it's pretty much situational. You can get rabadaons, zhonyas hourglass, or lich bane in any order. I recommened zhonayas if you are being targeted. You can also get some defensive items if somebody on the other team is fed.

Akali should level up her Q first. Her Q does double damage and that is why she is so good. You throw her karna and auto attack for double damage, plus the damage from her attack damage. You should put a point in her ult anytime since this is what makes her so hard to run away from.

I usually run flash and ignite. Flash is just a good summoner spell for almost any champ. You can use it with Akali's shroud to run. You can combine it with her ult to catch champs who are running. Ignite helps Akali get kills early in the game. You can also use it on fleeing enemies. If you are playing ranked and the other team has a great ad damaging team, exhaust is also great too.

Lv 1-5: During thhe first five levels, you should harass the enemy team in lane as much as possible.

Lv 6 and on- After Akali gets her ult, she is a killing machine.

Akali excells at killing squishy champs. She can also take out tanks early game. Once they get tanky, do not focus tanks. Go for ad carries and ap carries. Ryalis is a must for Akali because not many champs will escape from her.

Akali's Combo: Q-R-autoattack-Q-autoattack-E-R-W when you need shroud

Your R(Ult) is used to stay close to the enemy. It can also be used to KS many kills (LOLOL)

Akali is a really great champion because of her passive and her ult. Her ult can be used to escape or to chase. Her passive gives her spell vamp and additional damage. Her shroud gives her great control of areas and makes her hard to kill.

Akali is one of the best assassins. You should be going for squishies.

Champs to Kill: Ashe, Vayne, Corki, Caitlyn, Brand, Malzahar, Annie, Anivia,... Anyone squishy

tanks can be killed early game

Champs to Look out For: Irelia, Xin Zhao, other offtanks who can deal good damage... be sure you can kill them (should be fed or have a teammate or two)
