Build is meh, masteries are meh, runes are meh.
Just one thing : what's the real difference between AD and AP for Blitz ? I mean, I would need some details about the gameplay of each one because even if I'll try both (and support of course), I want to know how I should try to play or what will I be good at. I would like to know characteristics of each, like tankiness/squishiness, ... Does AP Blitz get as squishy as any other AP and can he be considered as a carry ? Same for AD...
I don't think that's clear but you may have caught the main question haha
Thanks anyway, awesome guide !
+1 of course
EDIT : tried AP build many times, only great results, and very surprising for the opponents and teammates because they see Blitzcrank as a supp most of the time at my playing level (not even lvl 30). I tried also AD, liked it but I found it a bit boring once you get used to it. But very efficient as well !
A few additions, if they aren't already mentioned:
- For ALL builds is the importance of being able to grab enemies through obstacles. The easiest ones are the base walls, both for offense and defense. For offense, I ward left and right of the minion path since they like to hang out there. Watch their patterns, target the sucker, and pull! Easy kill for your team while you wait on your minions. This goes the same for defending your own base, except try to pull them towards turret :)
- Use your grab to pull a pursuing enemy who's chasing a near-dead teammate. Bonus points if you can pull them to the other side of a jungle/base wall. You can usually escape with your W, but even if you don't, better for them to kill you than your carry.
- Once you get the sightstone, switch your trinket to sweeping lens
- If you're building support but are dominating, don't be afraid to get an Hourglass or Deathcap for funsies :)
- If it's super-late game, replace your gold item for another item of your choice, depending on the situation (typically defensive). Be sure to replace it with an item with Cooldown Reduction, like Frozen Heart!
Awesome build. Thanks again man. My fave champ, thanks to a good build guide :)
+1 for you sir.
