Graves is one of the best Attack Damage Carries in Game. He got a lot of Damage Output and his passive will give him great Stamina.

The Runes i've picked, are Flat AD in Marks, Flat Armor Seals, Flat MR Glyphs and Flat AD Quintessences.
The Flat Ad in Marks and Quints will help you to raise your Creepscore in Earlygame and will give you more Damage on your Buckshot, if u want to harass your enemys.

Flat Armor will reduce the incoming Damage of ur opponent AD Carry.

Flat MR will reduce the incoming Damage of the Support- and Jungle/Mid Champs.

I pick 21/0/9 Masteries because the best scaled skills for Graves are in the Attack Tree. That will give you more Damage, critical Rate and Lifesteal..will be great.
The 5 Points in Def Tree will give you more Armor and Magic Pen.
These will work together with Graves Passive Skill, which gives him more Armor and Magic Resist.
But care: His passive only raises when u shot on Minions or Enemys!

I use flash and ignite, but flash and Heal will be a good chooise too.
Sometimes ur E Speell isnt enough to flee..so u will use flash..
Ignite is a good chooise. U can kill heavy wounded champs, that will run away.
Exhaust will give you a better lane sustain, and could save lifes in Teamfights.

Start with Boots and 3 Health Potions and set ur first Point in Buckshot. Concentrate on Lasthitting Minions and harass the Enemys a lil bit while you do this. If you got the right laning partner you will get some early game kills.
Good Laning Partners for Graves are:
-Sona
-Soraka
-Taric
-Leona
-Alistar

If u want to give a much damage to ur enemys in early game push with ur E spell to the Enemys and damage them with ur Buckshot. The middle shot of the Buckshot will do the most damage, cause the diagonals were nerfed.
I think with nearly 2000gold u can get on ur first trip back and buy a Dorans Blade/BF. Sword and Beserker Boots. If u got a lil bit more Gold then buy an Vampiric Scepter
Try to make much more lasthits till u take the enemy turret down.
At this point u can gank a lil bit and help pushing other turrets.

Don't forget to get Red Buff.
If u will join a Teamfight, u will get a really big chance to get some free kills with ur Buckshot and Ultimate.Finish your Infinity Edge and a Zeal.
