Why smite and being in a lane? Because probably your jg is going to annoy you with the Leash so you can steal his gromp/krump and let him know dont ask to a blitzcrank to leash him.
First pick teleport instead of smite, and when its 3 seconds left for the game to start, take smite!

if the jg is going to do the gromp/krump (turtle golems) and annoy you, you must upgrade Q and when the jg monster is low health like you or the other annoying player (if he still has smite) can execute him with the smite, fastly flash to the other side of the wall , Q and smite.
if the jg insults you, give the insults back and go to lane.
