mejaj's isn't something that makes anivia more difficult to play, by using her e in conjunction with her other spells is going to get you kills regardless of how often you gank. most people drastically underestimate the amount of damage that her combo can do with little ap which makes them greedy and overconfidant. and i'm not saying by any means that anivia is a good character for someone who just started playing the game. she can be a very challenging champion to learn. even now i still find new uses for crystallize and i have playtested her for the last 6 months. most people who will use her have been playing the game long enough to know how to play the mid lane. and finally crystallize is very overrated early game, one point does little to nothing in the mid lane since it's size is so small that the aggressor can easily walk around it where flash frost's stun easily disables the aggressor long enough for you to escape. i know it appears that she loses a lot of misdirection and survivability without crystallize, but by the time you need it, it's mid/late game and you will have it by then

You said that the reason you didn't take a point in Crystallize is to make Anivia easier for new players, but then why do you take Mejai's Soulstealer? Also, taking a point in wall earlier can prevent you from losing your mejai's stacks.

through mejaj's you usually do have a lot of ap by this time, and even if they don't stack mr yet, it will negate the little they start out with or negate the mercury's treads that a lot of people tend to prefer over other shoes.

i wouldn't get Void Staff before Rabadon's Deathcap. A lot of magic penetration is useless without any ap. Plus no one is going to get MR, unless you have a load of AP.

valid point, one of the reasons anivia is one of the most difficult champions to play is because of her wall, if someone was to use my guide i have to assume they are fairly new to anivia thus i subtracted the wall to make her easier to play. and in all fairness the stun from her q is usually more than enough to make an escape early game, and if it isn't you're kind of SOL in the first place. an example would be WW flashing in to ult you. no wall is going to save you. but the wall can be used to scout the bushes as it gives you limited sight. i'll add an optional note to the guide suggesting the wall if the jungler is a frequent ganker. ty

like u said they will flash through it, at least u would waste their flash. And in the case of your jungler ganking mid, if they have no flash, it is most likely certain death. And what is flash cd? 4 minutes+ :D.

PS: I did say at least one point, more than one point is up to your own opinion

i'm constantly being told the same, however since you're going to be in the mid 95% of the time, they'll usually flash through it or just go around and ontop of that this guide is more for maximum laning consistancy and mid/late game dominance so the point would be wasted. if i was to lane (other than the solo, anivia can't be on the solo lane) than i would agree to put 1 point in it early, but only one point.

I still think u should have at least one lvl of crystalize earlier since it can be used for escape and blocking enemy from escape
