Introduction
The runes are very simple. Since the main source of damage for this build will be coming from our close friend, the MANAMUNE! , I take all runes of Intellect because on a mana-dependent champion like Tryndamere, too much mana is never a bad thing. Mana is also cheaper and easier to come by than attack damage or ability power, so we will be harnessing the cheapness of mana to convert into AD/AP later on in the build. This build focuses on the late game Tryndamere, although early game he will still do well.
I take 9/0/21 masteries, putting points in things like Perserverance, Expanded Mind, and Meditation, which I find are the key points for a low-mana champion like Trynd. I also find that in many of the games I play, my teamates find that I am not helping them enough, so I take a point in the Clarity mastery so that I can also benifet my teamates when I use clarity. If this is not your style, you can feel free to put point in other stuff like good hands. Goods hands is a very good mastery to have because it reduces the time you spend dead, allowing you to get back out there and kill more champions.
My item build is fairly simple. The point of AD/AP Trynd is to capitalize on the mana->ap and mana->ad conversion provided by Manamune and Archangels. I find that usually, AD Trynd does better early game than AP Trynd, so I rush a manamune. People may not think this is the best idea, but they are stupid noobs who dont know how to play Trynd. After that, you will notice that my build had quite a bit of survivalbility as well as AP, and all of those items are buildable from the cheapest, most effecient item for AD/AP Trynd- Sapphire Crystal. Stacking is good in high ELO with champions that carry a game, usually stacking Doran's Items. This guide is better in that by stacking Sapphire Crystals, you can actually build them into useful items later while still getting some AD from your early Manamune. Boots are not bought until last because your spin provides you will all the escaping and chasing power you will ever need.
Trynd is special in the fact that he is one of the only champions who can skip his ultimate at level 6. I do this because maxing his w skill, taunting Shout is much more important because it provides you with a slow, which is much needed CC on a champion like Trynd. It is maxed out along with your Spin, which is a cheap imatation of Garen's Spin, but does almost the same thing. It provides some burst damage to help you take down tanky champions like Morgana or Ashe.
As for my summoner spells, I take Smite and Clarity. Smite because Trynd is a very fragile hero early game, so it can be used to farm minion waves without putting yourself in much danger. Clarity is taken because Tryndamere is just a mana-gobbler with his skills, and I often find myself out of mana and forced to recall. This will help you stay in lane longer. Spells like Revive and Rally can be taken as well.
Thank you for reading my AD/AP Hybrid Tryndamere guide! Since Tryndamere is a very squishy champion, you will want to do as much damage as you can before you die. This guide will help you accomplish that! I cannot count how many times I have scored triple or quadra kills using this guide, and I hope that this guide will also bring you the facerolling that it brought me. Please follow this guide very carefully in game, as one needs to master it -perfectly- in order to utilize it properly. Hopefully, by using this guide, your low ranked ELO will change drastically!
