There are few dwellers, let alone champions, residing in the blasted and dangerous lands that lie south of the Great Barrier. The champion known as Nidalee was only a young girl traveling with her treasure-seeking parents when they lost their way in the dense, rainy jungles. The jungle was unforgiving, and she watched her parents suffer agonizing final days as they fell victim to a mysterious and vicious disease.

As improbable as it was for a child to survive in the inhospitable jungle by herself, she did just that. Her youthful innocence and a fortunate naivete caused her to appeal to the beasts of that place and she was taken in by a family of cougars and raised as one of their own. She grew and somehow absorbed the raw magic of the dense wilds, evolving beyond both her human physiology and her feline affectation. On one pivotal day in her life, standing over the torn remnants of a Noxian squad of woodcutters, Nidalee chose to rejoin the so-called civilized world, to fight in the League of Legends so as to protect the vast woods from both Demacia and Noxus.

Welsome summoners to my nidalee dominion guide. If you are fimiliar with HotshotGG's buide to nidalee youll see mine is very similar. I based all of my skills and item choices off of his because he is such a great nidalee. Every time ive tried this build ive gone insanely positive and carried my team. Do not assume using this guide means you will be able to 1v5 you still need to have skill to be able to do well with this build. EDIT: and since some people just dont get it ONLY BUY ONE OF THE BOOTS its your prefered boots get mobility if you like to cross the map fast get sorc if you want to deal more damage.

Innate: Moving through brush increases Nidalee's movement speed by 15% for 2 seconds.

most people don't even mention this ability in-game all that often, meaning they dont go out of their way to call it op or say its unfair, but this ability allows you to catch 9/10 champs in the bushes and helps TONS in dominion because of all the bushes in the middle.

Javelin Toss
Nidalee tosses her javelin, dealing magic damage on impact that increases depending on the distance between Nidalee and the target at the time it is hit. The multiplier caps at 2.5.

this skill is your main ability for damage at far range. It works insanely well against some champs such as Xerath who stand still to launch their attacks at you. It also is great in dominion because everybody has to stay still to cap points so you use those openings to spike their hp down

Takedown
Nidalee's next attack will be enhanced to deal additional physical damage plus increased damage based on how low her opponents health is to a maximum of 300% physical damage. This attack cannot be dodged.

this ability should be used last when your in cougar form. You spike their hp down then do massive damage with this and it will make them run for their lives in most situations

Bushwhack
Nidalee lays a trap that deals magic damage over 2 seconds when sprung by an enemy, revealing them and reduces their armor and magic resistance for 12 seconds. Traps last for 4 minutes.

my advice to you is lay these EVERYWHERE in the middle. People runnign through to cap a point hit this and are like O_O and book **** back or you have time to rush to the point to defend it.

i get this skill lvled first because the heal is what makes you a support and nid is one of the most combat oriented supports in the game heal and then cougar and your bound to rack up some damage.

Swipe
Nidalee claws at enemies in a cone in front of her, dealing magic damage.

Cooldown: 6 seconds
Range: 300 (estimate)
level up|Magic Damage|(+0.4 per ability power)|150|225|300

use this to farm minion waves and the second ability you should use in cougar form to rack up some more damage for your takedown.

Aspect of the Cougar
Toggle: Nidalee transforms herself into a cougar; gaining a new set of abilities, bonus armor and magic resistance and 20 movement speed and losing 400 range in the process.

Cooldown: 4 seconds

Each additional rank increases the effectiveness of Nidalee's cougar abilities.

probably this is what makes he so great the fact that she can turn from a long range poker and support to a close range burst makes this ult one of the best ults in the game imo.

I take per level everything because in dominion you level up so fast that its not worth the flat ones unless you like to be good for that first little bit.

I take ap quints, glyphs and seals for the damage on all your abilities and more healz

I take magic pen marks so your spear does more damage.

i go 9/0/21 becasue nidalee is a support she isnt ment to carry but if she gets fed enough she still can. Your roll isnt to steal kills its to help your teamates get kills. I have recently edit the masteries due to season 2 mastery changes. I feel as if this set up works out really well to increase damage output while still giving you tons of utility. Flash can still jump you over walls so I still take that.

Some people started complaining about not enough hp. I find this an acceptable complaint and I find I need some hp too sometimes. Instead of getting Rageblade get crystal scepter instead, it will help with the hp problem and increase survivability.

your heal needs to be leveled fast. I know you really want your spear to do crazy damage but your heal is the most important thing because your a support and you need to keep your allies alive. Then you can get your spear then your traps. A tip for traps is that you place them wherever there is fog of war so you can still see your enemies that are going to cap a point behind your backs.

I take ghost and flash for high mobility while also being able to get out of extremely sticky situations.
other spells i would recommend are exhaust and ignite for decreasing speed and damage and finishing off those people hwo always get away with 10 hp.
