I want to thank You a lot and much mooore :-D for your awesome guide. I like Nidalee since I saw her for the first time. And now she is my only and best champion ever for me :-) (playing with her for about 1 year). I read Your guide many times and it is really perfect. The best part for me is how to play with her - traps, wards, wall pounces, javelin, etc. To be honest Your guide + http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/nidalee-nail-them-down-one-by-one-323279/discussion?page=3#lastcomment helped me to "Rule the Jungle" and I am very grateful to You for all Your advices :-).
Wish You the best
Fangor
AP Nidalee
Let's start with runes. I get where you're coming from with the Armor Pen runes, but you have no magic pen until 35 minutes in. Maybe swap them for Hybrid Penetration runes instead. You should also note you can swap Mana Regeneration runes with Health p/lvl and the Flat MR with scaling MR.
Your starting items are weird. I think I understand why you start with them, but they aren't the best. You decide to start Mana Potions instead of Health Pots because you have a heal. The problem is, you heal for 65 until level 8. I don't think it's enough to sustain yourself through the lane. I say drop the boots and ward completely and start Doran's Ring and 2 health pots. You get more Mana Regen for your spells, you heal for more, and you have kill potential at level 6. You could argue that boots is better because you can start with a ward, but you shouldn't be pushing that hard anyways. If you really like that ward, you can start Fairie Charm, 4 health pots, 2 mana and a ward.
Your core build looks pretty good. The only thing I would change is not getting sheen and putting Lich Bane after Void. You should mention Athene's vs Double AP Comps and AP Mid Lanes, and Tear vs AD Mid or where your main threat builds AD.
For your more items section, drop RoA completely. It's garbage on Nidalee.
Hybrid Nidalee
Again, Hybrid Pen runes if you're gonna build AP but want armor pen.
I'm not gonna give an opinion on hybrid Nid, but it seems pretty bad and looks like an AD build with a couple of optional AP items slapped on it.
Bruiser Nidalee
You should run some armor penetration in your runes. I run ArPen Reds and flat AD Quints.
Again with the boots and the mana pots, I think you should just conserve your mana and get Health Pots, but that's your choice.
If I were to rate your guide, I would give it a 6.5/10
Cheers!
