This is my first build so I look forward to see your feedback! :)

Umm, I've played Katarina for along time now and I've learned how to mastery her.
I've tried many builds, but, no one works for me, so I figured out that I'd have to make my own build.

- I've been using this build for a while now and it really works for me -

Pros:

- Good mid.
- Good in teambattles.
- An awesome harasser!

Cons:

- Usally get killed when ganked.
- Worthless when any kind of silenced.
- Not epic if not fed.

Dude, you're AP Katarina, you need AP. That's why almost all your runes are AP.

Masteries. 9-0-21. Nothing special about that I think. You're AP.

I pick:

EXHAUST:
Works very good with Katarinas ulti. Killer Instincts+Shumpo+Exhaust+Death Lotus.
With EXHAUST your target will take more damage, because he/she will now run away.. Slower!

IGNITE:
I'm a fan of Ignite. If you're against Trynda, and you use Ignite in the middle of his ulti, you get a kill for sure.

- Ignite is also a good combo with your utlimate for lowering health faster. -

You want an advantage as mid by killing more minions than your enemy? No problem!

Okay. Grab your Dorians Shield and run to mid. You can see your enemy.

- Use Shumpo + Exhaust + Ignite and basic attack. -

This will lower your targets Health for sure.
(First I thought I wasted my spells, but then I figured out that when you're lvl 2~3 you'll have back your spells. > Please, it's only 3 min cooldown. <

+ This combo will give you an advantage, because: Your target that now has low health will not kill many minions, because he's afraid that you will come and kill him. So he will stay back and towerhug/kill 40%-70% less minions than you will +

(By the way, don't do this combo when minions have spawned, because your enemy minions will attack you and you will get very low health/get killed)

(Always try to get mid!)

If you use the combo"Killer Instincts+Shumpo+Exhaust+Death Lotus+Ignite+BB", you get a kill if you're mid.

Harassing: Use Killer Instincts+Shumpo+BB+Basic attack. Then run back.

When enemy using Health Potion: Killer Instincts+BB. (Reduces health regen by 50%)

Teambattles: Killer Instincts+Shumpo + Death Lotus. (I'm often the one who starts the teambattles. Example: You see all 5 enemies. You see your 4 allies. You jump in to the enemies and.. Release your Death Lotus! Your allies will now come to cover you. And no, you won't die as fast as you think. You do actually have 40% spell vamp (2 Hextex)!

If chased with low health: Never, ever do as the enemy expect you to do.
- If you get chased with low health, they expect you to run away from them, right? But you should Shumpo on them and run away from them the way they did not expect. It always works!
