While it is short and doesn't go into extreme detail, it gets the point across in terms of what to build and how to play. Followed the guide against a TF with 36 flat AP from runes (61 AP @ L1 with Doran's Ring) and stomped.

PROTIP: Spam Ctrl-2 (taunt) while laning. It's more annoying to the enemy than Singed /laugh spam. Honest.

Fair enough. I still feel like you're highly dependent on blue buff and undervaluing movement speed, but I don't go full-AP Poppy that often and I'm sure my instincts are based in hybrid playstyle even though I do OK with AP. With your explanations I feel comfortable upvoting even if I don't 100% agree with you yet.
