Have you ever considered using Deathfire Touch instead of Thunderlord's Decree when dealing with a support mage? With DFT you have more consistent poke and has the best synergy with Kog'Maw's Q. Also the DoT is more useful against the healing. TLD works well for Tanky support as you need to stay out of range, but with DFT you can just poke the enemy champions out of lane. Also, I don't know if building Hextech Gunblade on Support Kog'Maw is a good idea, I would put more emphasis on poke with Lyandrai's Torment to just whittle down enemy champions. I would also switch Redemption and Rylai's so that you can use the heal more frequently and with Lyandai's already purchased, Rylai's could enable more burn.

I'm still doing some experimentation, but yeah I totally agree. I just put gunblade in for the slow, because the orginal design was for ultra slow kog'maw because the active gives a slow. I'm still working on other builds for kog support. I'm gonna try DFT and a slighty different build, thanks for the feedback, expect an update in the coming days

While the Gunblade slow is nice, if that is the only reason, then it is not worth buying since you are a support and you have low income. Besides, Frost Queen already has a slow. Another thing to consider for maxing order is Q, W, E when you are dealing with tanks. In my opinion maxing Q in general for Kog'Maw support would be better since the mana cost stays at 40 and the armor/MR shred and attack speed all increase together. If the E only gets more expensive over time and only buff the damage and the slow, then it isn't worth as much.

I'm planning on playing Kog'Maw support in ranked because I want to climb and if my adc sucks then I can carry in their place. So I went looking for Kog'Maw support builds.

One of the best match ups that happened was me as Kog'Maw support and Corki ADC against Vayne/Sona bot. It was some of the funniest fights that I had experienced as a support as Kog'Maw and Corki both have resistance shredding abilities and the dps and dot from Kog'Maw support was amazing. It got the point were I could solo the Vayne.

Keep up the good work, as a Kog'Maw main, I feel that Kog'Maw mains have the task of coming up with fun and powerful builds for Kog'Maw to be somewhat successful.

P.S. I had purchased Tear of the Goddess instead of Sight Stone for the fact that Kog'Maw has large range and his ultimate can reveal hit champions for 40 mana and you can reserve the control ward or normal wards for the river bush. This would save you 50 gold and you can later upgrade your Tear for later game.
