The crit as well as his passive makes for an epic team battle in 2v1 as well as 3v1 and even 4v1. the main thing to remember is to activate shroud of darkness when entering and during a battle, it allows for dominating the opponents. another thing is that if during a battle of 2v1 or more go for the weaker player or the one with the least hp. when that opponent dies you will be near full hp... ready for the next opponent. also, a good idea to watch out for the tower as paranoia can be dangerous for you if your moment of triumph isn't planned properly.:D

Although you wont have all that much hp as it isn't an hp build the fact that the attack speed is so high along with "shroud of darkness" allows you to kill an opponent and prevent getting yourself stunned or taking severe spell damage. the upside is that you will kill anything even Dr.Mundo with his fire shield on... the attackspeed is insane with the crit and umbrella blades you can "cleave" the opponents around you with what will probably be a high crit, steal hp with each enemy that you hit as well as steal more hp with the life steal...it rapes.

i know that there are different bulilds for nocturne but each build requires a certain way to play or you will fail... fail hard sometimes. my build is for if you want to jump in and **** the opponents quickly while still surviving with the epic crit life steal combo thus giving you the ability to get double tripple or even ace killing sprees. the avarice blade is just to give you that little extra gold as if you were being fed for when things aren't going your way... you will see it is very useful ingame.
