Hey! Awesome guide. I pretty new to bard top and I was wondering if their are any other builds that are like half damage and half support because im not a huge fan of full dmg or full support. i liked this build but im not a huge fan of the deadmans plate and thornmail. Thanks!

Hi, sorry for the delay, I just saw the notification!
Dead Man's Plate is a very good item as per-se since it gives movement speen and mitigates slow effects. Stats are good for survivability while the unique passive packs a punch for extra dammage. You could try
Karma top, maybe I'll write a guide for her one day, she can be a real PITA in the Top Lane, to play against.

Makes sense. Is there a build that is more support oriented where I just roam the whole game and get my other lanes fed? Would I start with a sup item? I love off meta tops and am pretty good with roaming ivern top and a few others so I think bard would be a fun addition!

This one is already a support build, with the
Statikk Shiv only exception, you use this to clear the wave quickly and be ableto roam without losing cs. Give it a try because it is more reliable than Ivern in many ways, other than roaming for ganking you want to keep control on enemy jungle and the Baron/Rift/Grubs placing wards so that you know where is the jungler at a given time. You can also kill some top laners but don't make this your priority.

Hello there. Nice guide, but I have some suggests to improve it. For example, I think that the 2 core items aren't the best choice to ping (maybe a full build has an higher impact). Also, maybe keeping separated the explanation of the objects isn't too good (personal opinion, I prefer to see ALL objects, then ALL gameplay). Also, some meatchups misses. Good work.

Hi, thank you for the feedback! I purposedly put only 2 items for core, then split up the items in sub sections to make it look like a progression and not overbloat with full build and have no clear prio. Aboout the matchups there are a lot missing! Too many to cover, but if you have a champion in particular I can add him/her.

I see your point for the rec. items. It works either in this way. For the matchups, u can put, for exaple, champs with the highest pickrate right now (with
Aatrox, there are the wind brothers,
Renekton and
Vayne).
